I think alot of you are quick to bite on statements etc that are said without sitting down and thinking out your replys.
My thoughts are everyone knows that the standard ecu on the 33 is probably the most retarded ecu ever and to get decent power figures out of your car it is an important modification that is as common as an intercooler upgrade these days.
As many have stated dynos are a tuning tool to test the increases/decreases in power from the mods you have purchased and to see if the money was spent wisely. I think everyone can agree that the power figures given shouldnt be taken as gospel.

I have a SAFC which I guess is similar and I first mounted it in replace of the ash tray but couldnt really see it so Imounted it up in the aircon vent. Ill see if I can post up a pic for you.

They do come in the 34GTt and it does pop up and it looks nothing like the 34gtr one. Its used as a tv and controls for the stereo. My friends parents have one in there turbo 34 in replace of the 3 gauges. It was a factory option from nissan and im sure they would be cheaper to buy then the 34 GTR version.

If your worried about it go to a 2nd hand parts place and pick yourself up one. Two of my friends are running with out there heat shield and havent come across any problems. 1 is a 33 and the other a Laurel.

Some Gtst's came with the vspec diff you are very lucky as they are a rare option.
The A-LSD light in the tacho it only comes on if there is a problem. The ECU for the ALSD is in the boot. Does it stay on always or just come on now and then?

Yeah If the car is the same in your avatar im pretty sure it was you. I was with a Black 33 a 32 GTR and mine a silver series 2 R33. You should of come and said hi or maybe I should of I didnt notice till Isaw your sticker when you were at the lights

For limited mods as you have stated id go the SAFC a power FC would be overkill. If you decide to change things more in the future sell the SAFC and buy a power FC.

4-4 is what I think I have mine set at and second screen appears to be right, 6cylinder and throttle position up. If I had my car here id go out and check my settings for you as mine hasnt been tuned as yet.

I think you limited to piggyback computers with an auto box such as a SAFC. But There was a guy on here that was running a powerfc in his r34 auto. Cant remember his name though..
