Sau Official Oran Park Gp Track Day 2009 - Friday June 12
Merli replied to Abo Bob's topic in Events Archive
Car won't be ready It won't have any suspension in it (as I'm finding it hard to get any kind of forward movement with the suspension distributor), so I'll just be puttering around, running in the new brakes, and checking engine temps Should be fun to get the car moving anyway. -

Stick with the normal gunmetal R34 GTR colour Pete... That "white" is waaaaaaaaaay too bright for the dull R32 GTR paintwork..

It's there to smooth out the pressure of the clutch line, so the result is a smoother activation and deactivation of the clutch. Obviously designed for road use, but many people get rid of it for road use too, as you lose control and feel over the clutch pedal.

For early or late model R32 GTR? -
WTF thread ressurection! Anyway, I had a hero in an R32 Golf try and race me on my way home from work tonight... He saw me through traffic and floored it past me. Caught up at the next lights. I looked over and gave him a disgusted look and shook my head... I call it the "You're a fcuking tool" look... He just stared at me. We both took off normally from the lights, and he pulled in behind me. Looked in the rearview mirror at the next lights and he had this puppy-dog, ashamed look on him face

Nerp... Not as yet... I'll get to the details like that further down the track... Right now, I'm just concentrating on the basics

 We supplied a CAD drawing with exact specs and measurements in millimeters, but I don't know how accurate the end result was... Perhaps John did the measurements to check?

I certainly hope that it was fabricated right the first time! I had a good look at the radiator, and the welds looked as good as any japanese welding... re: weight Haven't you seen my reo bar? SPEEDHOLES!!!! I only got around to drilling 4 holes before I couldn't stand the noise anymore... I'll get they boys at UAS to finish off the weight reduction later

I got the 5.5kg model, and it's being relocated into the passenger-side of the boot very soon B14115C: * 360 COLD CRANKING AMPS * 11.5 POUNDS, 5.5KG * 147mm x 86mm x 150mm (L x W x H) * 15 AMPS PER HOUR * 1 YEAR WARRANTY Radiator is a custom PWR jobbie, with an in-built oil cooler core in the passenger-side end-tank It's 55mm thick. Not sure if the side shrouds fit... Never really planned on re-fitting them.
