We can't wait any longer to find an ecu for our S2 Stagea auto. The std ecu couldn't be fixed (BUGGER)! Have rang lots of wreckers with no luck and my local nissan can't even get back to me. We are going to have a Vi-pec ecu board fitted next week. It is going to clean out the piggy bank but I am looking foward to driving wagon again. I am going sell the Apexi SAFC and Jaycar boost controller that are wired in. I will sell Apexi Multi checker also if it can't be used. It will be interesting to see what wagon goes like. I have just o'hauled head after head gasket letting go on no. 6. At same time I match ported manifolds to head. While in machine shop they dedaged seat to port machining steps and smoothed chambers. I had injectors cleaned. I also fitted an adj. ex. gear at the same time as fitting a 100k km timing belt kit. Wagon allready had a k&n panel filter, full 3" exhaust and was running 10lbs boost. Head gasket blew 2 days before new years and wagon has been off road since. I am going to the blow cobwebs out once we get it tuned!!!

Good luck trying to find one. I was looking for an ecu for my S2 Stagea. I had no luck through SAU. I also have rang two dozen wreckers around aus. I had about six who said they would ring me back but guess what, they couldn't find the time. ALL AUTO IMPORTS (Qld) told me they thought they had an r34.

His wife finds it to diffecult to lend bits of their car to fault find for some reason?! No wonder he calls her the 'handbrake'!!

EDIT to my last post. AAIP didn't make the time to ring through part no. I don't want to have buy one from nissan. It has allready taken my local nissan a week to not reply to my enquiry. Would be nice to find out difference in computers and if a 99' comp. will run my 98'.

He did make the time to ring back with part number. My wagon is an 8/98 with a part number of 23740 0V810. A bloke I work with has an 11/99 with part number of 23740 0V811. Same car specs. Turbo, auto, awd. I have the rest of details but my local nissan said that the above was all that they needed to supply me a new one.

Both cams 15 deg up. I just went out and had a look at at at belt I changed a few weeks ago and there 39 teeth between line up marks for cams on factory belt. Any help.

Whilst ringing around today chasing an ecu for our S2 Stagea (still!!) I was able to find a few S1 Stageas being wrecked. They are in Qld. Thay are; A1 Nissan wrecking, Alljap auto parts and All auto imports. Thought I would share. Now can somebody please find me a S2 wrecker??

I am chasing a factory computer for a Stagea S2 auto.

I have a S2 Stagea auto. The computer needs to be replaced because it has constant 5 volts coming of it going to tps. Is there anything I can try with comp. or just throw it away? Has anybody got one to sell?

I fitted a new 1" core rad. to my S2 stagea (NEO RB25t) a couple of weeks ago. Don't know if you have same outlets. Here are the numbers off the box. JR 6772J, JAYRAD Radiators, AE02A, PL-020444.

HPI to stealth. What's the differences? Is HPI a sidemount?

Yer have read those volts needed. Just double checked at computer and had same closed volts as SAFC (1.3v). Just took for a drive. 4wd and check engine light stay on. A/T light flashed 4-5 times on startup. Getting worse!!!

Was told that TPS was dodgy was causing the idling, gearshift problems & tight steering when backing out driveway. So I had to buy tps through Nissan and after a week it turned up. Fitted last thursday, took car for a drive and was no better. Yesterday I checked tps volts via Apexi AVCR, new verses old and there was no real difference??!! New read 1.13v closed & 3.98v open. Old read closed 1.3v & 3.95v open. Does anybody have any tips so car doesn't have to go mechanic on tuesday?

Have a set of 4 Stagea S2 16" wheels with useable tyres, light marks on a couple of rims $500.00. If you need bits i have a radiator $100.00. Thermostate $15.00. Timing belt idler & adjuster $25.00 for both.
