  1. no thats all cool... its what everyone gets... well its what i got atleast if you look on the top left hand of the instructions you will see that there is a colour code which will tell you what all the colours should do! anyone with a the smallest amount of auto electrical knowledge should be able to figure out where they are are ment to to attached to under the dash... but unfortunately you will have to cut and join your wires to connect them into the corresponding wires in your car. once installed you should just be able to unplug your terminal block provided and your hand-brake wire and remove the unit fully... follow?
  2. coolio then... if you can get it installed at your liesure and somehow get the clock and the timer pcb/half the wiring to me, then i can do the mod for you... simple.
  3. do you have a PIVOT baby timer? do you have a wiring diagram for it? do you have someone who can wire it for you? questions...question...question...
  4. not too sure but i know that you timer should have about 5 or 6 wires (correct me if im wrong) like ign, constant power, ground, acc, and hand-brake coming out of the back of the timer. if you can hook those up and leave enough so that you can cut the wires and re-solder them back again, you should be right. all i will need is the timer itself and the clock. when i said harness i really ment the wires that come out of the timer. i dont think that i had a terminal block or anything with mine. hope that helps Nate
  5. yeah no worries, just let me know when you want to do it... i would say for you to get it all installed (harness and all) and when that is done you can bring your clock and timer over and i can make the mod for you... should only take about 1 hour. i live in winthrop
  6. pivot timers have red numbers... not that bad really... breaks up all the bloody blue on the dash. putting it behind the clock is not so hard as it is figity you will have to pull apart the clock and make a square hole in the centre of the clocks PCB (printed circuit board). you wil also need to make sure that all tracks are cut which link up all the common rails/tracks on the clock pcb (easier said than done) once that is done... to mimic the clock buttons to do what the power, seconds and minutes buttons will do, you will need to solder link wires between the buttons on the clock PCB to the buttons on the timer PCB... once again, easier done that said. Thats about it! if you have done this correct all you will have to do if put the clock back tp together, with a hole in the back of the black clock case, so that the timer pcb will slot into the whole clock case and put back into the dash as removed. If you have cut the holes in the clock PCB and clock casing tight enough the timer PCB will hold itself in tight enough, if not you will probably have to affix it to the case do that it doesn't fall out when you break hard i will post pics toght if i can, otherwise let me know if you are interested and i cann aid you in the creating from hell
  7. i got a muli meter if you wana borrow it. wil will measure everything... dont have spare packs though whats wrong? do you have the missing/poping problem that 80% of skyline owners have?
  8. get a pivot baby timer for sure. I got one and pulled the electronics out of it and set it all up behind my clock so that the clock face is now that of the timer and the buttons on the clock mimic that of the timer. ie. power is now reset button etc... looks acool at night too and it hides it out of sight. if you need a hand with it let me know and i can help. Nate

  12. for everyone that holds a opinion, and says that rony was a idiot to speed, let me tell you something... MAHATMA GANDHI, a well respected man of politics, religion and life once had a lady come up to him, because of his great statue and respect, begging him to tell her son not to eat sugar because it was not good for him. In responce, Gandhi said to the lady to come back and see me in 2 weeks and ask me again then. The lady asked him intrigued and asked why then? He said, because in 2 weeks i will not have eaten sugar for 2 weeks. then i will tell him think about it peace nate

  20. helloooooo all. Does anyone on these forums know or actually wholesale computer parts. Mainly Mobo's, CPU's and ram! I remember reading a thread once where someone here worked for a comnpany of the like. My small yet nice company is currently getting parts from DMA at dealer discounted prices. We are in the process of building simple all-in-one machines and a custom case for our Automation systems which were are about to go into semi-mass (hopefully... mass one day soon) production. we have a order for 120 units already! At DMA we can get a MSI 6533 Mobo for about $75ex along with a 2.0cel and 256 ram. all we realy need! Can anyone help me trying to get cheaper prices... ANy help would be much appreciated. Nate:uh-huh:
