  1. So here is a pic of the clutch fork area. For people who are not mechanically minded where would you need to spray to stop the squeek? To access this area its on the passenger side near the wheel i believe right? Do you need to take off any covers to get access to this also? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=39884
  2. Take it to your tuner for a re-tune. Dont forget to get a good road tune also.
  3. Hey Guys, I just want to say that now I know why everyone goes wild over changing engine management. A mate of mine has Minimal mods - Exhaust and Front mount only.Boost has not been increased. He got a Apexi Power FC and got it fully tuned up and the car seems like a whole different beast now. Im not too sure if this is normal but just thought it was strange how engine management would change the car so much with minimal mods.
  4. How did you reach the clutch fork? What exactly do you need to lubricate??? I wish someone had pics =(
  5. Hey Guys, A family friend has been living in Japan for a while now and they are coming back in september. So just wondering if you guys have any ideas where I can get them to get me a second hand power fc that works for cheap.
  6. I remember a member here "fhrx" telling me its possible to fit 6x9's nicely using a method with specially made spacers. This would make the install look very professional and without the need to make a new parcel shelf or hack the current one.
  7. Im fairly positive spraying the clutch pedal with wd-40 will not do much. Im sure its the clutch fork. How can I quieten down this bastard. A mechanic told me its not even worth it due to the amount of work required to reach it properly.
  8. Im tired of hearing a squeaking sound when I change gears. Just wondering if its ok to get some WD-40 lubricant and go crazy on the clutch pedal.
  9. If you dont state a price im sure this will be closed by a moderator.
  10. What about people who have the stock intercooler piping in place?? Like for example a larger side mount or a blitz lm fmic who cant use that hole to get some cold air.
  11. 7x10's??? The parcel shelf must be hacked to the max!! I dont think even a custom parcel shelf would fit that.
  12. Yeah ive had the whole big subs in the boot in my old car but just too much for me. I would be happy with an amped up simple system with splits up front and 6x9's at the back. Would give me enough for my driving pleasure. No need to shake sydney while I drive or win sound offs. I like my boot space too much.
  13. Ok I thought there needs to be a hole under the airbox for a cai which is where the stock intercooler piping goes through. So if you use the stock cooler location you cant use this snorkel??
  14. These would be the pics. I hope they work. This is the box http://www.nismo.com.au/pricelists/General...gtstairbox1.jpg http://www.nismo.com.au/pricelists/General...gtstairbox2.jpg This is the snorkel it uses. No idea how it works or where it goes?? http://www.nismo.com.au/pricelists/General.../gtrsnorkel.jpg
  15. OMG!!! thats what I want!!!!!! How much you think it would cost to have something like this done?? I want splits up front and 6x9's at the back. Man im jealous =( If you were in sydney id pay you to hook me up. Looks schmick az and complete stock looking. Im impressed. Any easier ways of putting in 6x9's and making it look this good?? or is custom parcel shelf the only way to go.
  16. Is the UAS box effective without some kind of air feed? I see they are also selling this big shiny snorkel on uas for the air box where does this go???
  17. Hey Audiogods!!! Ive got a enclosure for two mtx 10 inch subs which pumps heaps for such small speakers. Anyways.... I had them in a lancer previously and they use to move around heaps like going over speed humps and corners. Any ideas how to securing it in the boot?? Thanks
  18. Yeah thats cool, I was thinking about using spacers but i get the feeling they would look ugly cause they would be sticking out heaps and not look smooth.
  19. wouldnt it be easier to make a new rear parcel shelf out of mdf and put some quality 6 x 9's in there on an angle so they fit and hey presto?? and then some splits up front and your sweet!!! Or just buy or make some spacers for some 6 x 9's??
  20. Hey wcastrey, Had the same prob as you some person increased my tps when I had a BOV installed and tps was in closed throttle mode and car was running bad. Went to a mechanic with a consult and he adjusted the tps accordingly and no more idle probs. I suggest you find a mechanic who has a consult so they can fix up the tps position. hope everything work out.
  21. Hey guys today I was taking out the cars and putting my line in the garage, As it wasnt fully warm yet I tried to drive it in without revving it out. It basically shuddered its way into the garage. Ive heard this is a common thing with organic and heavy duty clutches what about the stock clutch?? Usually happens when the car is cold, when car is warm seems all good. This normal?? Poor baby shuddering along =(
  22. Mine squeeks, its my clutch fork, Have been meaning to get some grease on it but seems hard to reach. Dont think WD40 would be the best option.
  23. Can I get a pm of the name of this tuner aswell please. Thanks
