  1. When going through one of these companies are they able to get the car inspected like here in Australia like the old NRMA checks??
  2. Hey Guys, I have taken some nice photos of a friends wedding and thinking of putting the pics in a nice professional looking album to give to them for xmas. Thinking for those thick albums (not coffeebook/magazine style) where its digital and not actual physical photo's being clued or placed in a album. Would you know of any companies who specialise in nice and reasonably priced wedding albums. Thanks
  3. Dont mean to hijack your thread so I apologise. With lens choice. Ive been told tamron and sigma brand lens are crap. I currently have a nikon kit lens 18-55mm and a 50mm F1.8 prime lens. Looking for something with longer focal length like a 70-200 F2.8 but the price for the nikon is nuts!! is the sigma/tamron alternative any good in your opinions? I have a Nikon. Thanks
  4. Nikon D90 owner here very happy!! Just thought id join in on the Nikon love.
  5. anyone have any reviews on this game?? Thinking of getting it
  6. Are you coming down with a mechanic mate or something? How do you intend to see and get the car inspected by a mechanic in such a short time? Most vehicle checking places require a couple days notice atleast. Best of luck though =)
  7. Awesome photos. Just bought myself a Nikon D90 as I have always wanted to enter the world of DSLR got bored of the stock digicams. Cant wait till I get to the same level of quality you guys are at. I have the kit lens 18-55mm so that should keep me busy for a while. Will be buying a fast prime lens today so that should keep me even busier.
  8. How deep can the 6x9's be so no problems are encountered. Thinking of doing this as a weekend hobbie thing. Thanks
  9. Hey there, your problem is you need to invest in some spitfires and get your spark plugs re-gapped.
  10. Why is everyone selling their V35's?? Are they crap
  11. Thanks GODZLR Major?? Such as? Will try the lock thing though. Never had a dilemna with my car so hoping this is minor. Any other ideas?
  12. Hey guys, Last night I took the car out the garage and while I was reversing the car (cold) and turning the steering wheel I heard this metal scraping kind of sound. When I staightened the car up and drove forward and turned the steering wheel did the same thing. Here is the strange part once the car was warmed up it stopped doing it. When I got to my destination and starting driving in the carpark and making slow turns nothing??? Very strange anyone experience the same thing?? Thanks
  13. Im looking forward to it!! Its going to be like the old need for speed underground 2 which I loved but with better graphics.
  14. I dont think my clutch has been changed since the car was new. So I have a 96 model so that 12 years!! Not to bad. I treat the car pretty well I dont thrash it or anything. May just get myself a heavy duty organic if I ever decide to modify my car in the future. Pretty stock at the moment except for an exhaust but may just do a couple things to get a bit more power. Probs do a compression test first to see if the 102,000km engine can handle some extra grunt dont want to blow the engine.
  15. You can try GIO they have a special import section - Cant remember the name sorry. Also Shannons,Famous car insurance, Ryno Insurance. Just a few options you can consider
  16. Hey Guys, When I put the clutch to friction point and the car begins to move without accelerating the car begins to shutter and you can feel it underneath the car. It usually happens when the car is cold and warming up. Its not a problem because the car drives perfect all the time just abit strange that the car has this shutter which seems to be either the clutch or the gearbox. Was just wondering if any members have encountered something like this with their cars and see if they have found a fix. Look forward to hear your thoughts and opinions
  17. Hi, Any update on your situation?? Just hope everything has worked out fine. I know the feeling when something like that goes wrong. Thinking of importing a V35 but starting to think about buying one locally.
  18. Mate all I can say is well done!! Thats a killer set up and really good to see you stick with the gts-t also. Its adds a level of surprise when coming up against other people in GTR's. I have a gts-t and love it to bits and understand as to why you have decided to stick with it. To that guys who decided to be rude thats no way to make friends in this forum. Anyways once again top stuff.
  19. I have been running Mobil 1 5w 50 and car loves it.
  20. What servicing are you after?? If its only oil,oil filter, spark plugs, air filter - save yourself some money and if your confident enough do it yourself.
  21. Im glad the pic helped. Seems the clutch squeak is a common problem.
  22. Ok cool thanks R31Nismoid. As someone has already nicely said, a FMIC could also cause overheating as it is blocking the radiator. So if someone decided to installs a pod for the induction sound (its all there good for) with a FMIC thinking it will battle the extra heat are mistaking because it may actually cause more problems.
  23. Not too sure. Just saw some people here saying how much hot air a un-shielded pod sucks into an engine on a hot day. Thought maybe that would be it. So much hot air going into an engine cant be good I imagine. Im glad I never decided to go pod filter and use a panel filter with the stock airbox.
  24. Hey Guys, Just want to query something. I know this guy who installed a Pod filter onto his S14 200sx. He was driving it on a hot day and he looked at the temperature needle and the engine was overheating. So just wanted to ask a stupid question would adding a pod filter without a heat shield cause a turbo car's engine to overheat?? Thanks
