  1. They are nice, but that's because its a series 3 GTR. as porn an R33 as you're gonna find. Do the same with a GTS and it may not look as nice because of the narrower body. The black car looks like its in the UK, wtf is with its 4x4 spec with fender flares, jacked up ride height and fail fitment. So much potential...wasted. Should just make it a point now that if people walk into Driftline wanting aesthetic mods they have to be approved by us first, so that we're not responsible for fail fitment cars and candy coloured veilside bombs. Problem is the knobjugglers that want shithouse mods are the ones with the most money and the least sense, which means max profits.
  2. rotaries are quite stable, efficient and reliable in stock N/A form. its only when tards thrash the living daylights out of twin turbo variants that you get reliability issues.
  3. what about a 13B? yes I'm being serious. We almost imported a bus for a customer a while back, a Mazda Parkway 28 seater, and it had full log books (as required by the agency) for... wait for it... just over 1 million kms. Still ran the original engine. Needless to say we were bloody impressed.
  4. back on topic, I'd take the Top Secret over the one on Car Mate one, and I'd take ANYTHING over the failside kit. that said, I'm a huge fan of the Diana kit for the R33 GTS by Insurance. Its clean and straight, none of this skirt like stuff from Vertex, BN, URAS and the billion other knockoffs. you need balls to pull it off though, as the kit is intended to sit a few mm off the ground.
  5. I don't think the cedric diesel's ever made it to oz... but I think the Nissan Patrols did come in a GQ variant with an RD28T 2.8L Diesel Turbo.
  6. this is a for sale section. that means YOU sell stuff YOU HAVE FOR SALE to OTHERS. Not the other way around. Thread closed. While you're at it, please revise your WTB thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/W2...ms-t307929.html
  7. *sigh* post up: wtf you're putting "omg uleh deep dish bro" rims on wtf you consider a "omg uleh deep dish bro" wheel (visual or style hints would be nice) what diameter wheel you're looking for and for bonus points... a range of widths and offsets that you're after etc. (which you can find in this thread) otherwise I will close this thread because: you fail at creating wtb threads your post will end up wasting most of your time and the time of people who respond you win at being a tard
  8. I blend them in photoshop, but I avoid using their built in script. I've tried the photomatix plugin, but still wasn't happy with its results. I find most automated methods result in pics that just look artificial. I prefer to do them by hand, much better control of what goes on and what gets highlighted, and what gets muted. Problem I have with most automated HDR processes is that it lights everything up like a christmas tree... there's no subject anymore, nothing to draw the eye etc. Anyways, enough of my rant... read: http://www.photoshopsupport.com/photoshop-...ange/index.html
  9. Might be of help? Nothing specific on an RB30 though. http://www.mindspring.com/~jayk3/toyota/swaps.htm
  10. my bad... laurel... dunno why i said legnum.
  11. want... legnum... now.
  12. i thought you guys could afford running water n showers?
  13. lol nah, mine's 6 different colours and runs stock GTR wheels atm... one day I'll get off my arse, fix the ABS system that's causing the front passenger side brake to permanently clamp on, and paint n panel it and throw on some wheels. or I could sell it as is and drive the camaro when it gets here. seriously cbf with the skyline atm.
  14. I'll bring the cocoa butter.
  15. yeah, rear is fine. front needs a little more out... 15mm to 20mm? then roll the lip on the guards and drop it by just under an inch, should leave minimal gap, you don't have to run stretch tyres, shouldn't have scrapage on lock or over bumps... but it'll look tough. probably will get defected for height though cos the bottom lip of the front spoiler will drop under 10cm. alternatively if you don't give a fuck, then do this: 18x9.5+15 front 18x10+20 rear near perfect fitment for R32 narrowbodies. maximum wheel width, no fouling on suspension, and with a roll, no scraping.
  16. if you're using spacers, make sure you get the washers on them to stop them moving around and they won't mess your wheel balance up. if possible get ones with hub bolts, they're "safer" than just slip on's and don't move around at all, but you'd need a 15mm+ spacer for that, which might be too much. but yeah, nothing beats choosing the right wheels with the right offset.
  17. cos you can't niggasteal from nyakuhs.
  18. in other news... we need one of these to transport our hellaflush cars to the track to get pwnd by sunken battleships.
  19. I'd say it'd handle better than a car with 7" wide wheels on a narrower wheelbase, a higher centre of gravity, tyres running at a lower tyre pressure with a lot of flex in the sidewall, and no camber or toe adjustments reuslting in poor cornering. but apparently everyone in melbourne drives their skylines ready to jump on the track at the drop of a pin. you'll find most guys who are concerned with stance and fitment pay more attention to suspension settings, so if they go on a track will change to better wheels and most definitely a realignment/readjustment of suspension. that's what we do anyways, every single time we go to a track event, properly using a laser assisted alignment rack. how often do you "omg hellaflush is so shit on a track" arsemonkeys check your suspension?
  20. so... the owner has aids, and not the wheel?
  21. i should get off my arse and fix the 32 before deca... otherwise i'm gonna have to drive the ceffy.
  22. wait... you live in melbourne and own a ceffy and an R32? omg. no homo.
  23. sydney boys love their starcrap wheels for some reason. must be those cockspankers at tempe floggin em by the dozen.
  24. damn i wish I had an autech kit on my ceffy now
  25. that would be too logical and sensible a decision to come to. he's got mates to impress and girls to get moist. with an n/a supra. yeah. you heard right. don't go back and read it again.
