I've got a van going from Brissy to Melbourne via Sydney. If anyone wants to send stuff to Melb I'm happy to take them with me. Just give me a small donation towards fuel costs, and drop it off to me in Concord - Sydney and have the person receiving it come get it from me in melb. I'm taking a full bodykit, so I probably can't fit another complete kit in there, but I should be able to take stuff like bonnets etc. No halfcuts or anything stupid big, nothing that leaks (make sure its fully drained) and nothing flammable. I will be stopping in Sydney on the 21st for a day, so if you need stuff taken down let me know. I'm only gonna be there for 24 hours. Arriving late on the 20th and leaving in the arvo on the 21st.

boot floors are part of crumple zone, its meant to crease, you just put it on the rack and pull it straight again. as long as your rails aren't kinked its easy panel beating with parts from a donor cut if the floor's too creased to pull straight. it'll cost the workshop about 3k to 5k to fix, but obviously they're gonna quote you 8k to make a tidy profit, they're not a charity. If you don't have a workshop hookup that'll look after you, your best option is find a couple of workshops that'll give you high quotes, enough to write off the car. Just Car's threshold is 70% to 75% of the value of the car. Sometimes you might have to pay em a $100 to make em give you two quotes high enough to get the payout. For them its $100 for typing up a piece of paper and getting the shop down the road to do the same.

As per usual the North/West crew will be doing our weekly meet at Baskin & Robbins Chapel Hill, but instead of the usual sit down and eat session, we will instead be cruising to the South (Sunnybank) and going for dinner at a mate's restaurant. This will be followed by a short trek to the carwash for some skin on metal loving. I'd like to invite any inner wesssayeeders to come along to the meet at Baskin and Robins Indooroopilly (along moggill road, across the road from Shell and Lexus) at about 6:00pm - 6:30pm. If you're down south then you can join us about an hour later around 7:30pm. The restaurant is located on the corner of Warrigal Road and Padstow Road Eight Mile Plains. There's a carpark at the shopping village sorta thing where we can all park. As per usual, this is a social event, no skids or races. If this format proves popular then we'll look at running it weekly or fortnightly for the pleasurement of West and South people. It gives you a good chance to meet and talk to other large members, although if you run SR20's, fail fitment or lolfag veilside bodykits, we might have a sniggle at your expense.
