  1. Just wondering if current owners of the series 2 are happy with the ne0 25 power and potential wise, or given the chance would go the 26. bearing in mind its wagon not being tuned for the track. How much is enough?.... thats probably a silly question but comments please. Is the extra costs for rebuilds etc worth it for this car?
  2. Done a search and cant find any info. Can someone suggest a fix? Cheers

    Wtb Rb20det

    I need a 4wd version rb20det engine cheers
  10. How likely is it that its sucking up oil from the rocker cover under wot and then getting slamed back into the afm and filter when the throtle closes? Will clean and check again anyway. Cheers.
  11. Just started to drive this r32 gts4 and thought it was using way too much petrol so i pulled the afm off to check and clean it. Found it was very dirty and there was alot of oil inside the air filter and it looks like it has kind of pooled in the coregated sections of the pipe and set like jelly. I know it hasnt been driven for a long time but have no idea how long its been since the filter and afm have been cleaned. Im wondering how much oil blow back is acceptable or weather my oil seals are completely shagged and i need a new turbo. Any comments apreciated.
  12. Master cylinders are almost the same in alot of nissans. I got one exactly the same as mine in my gts4 from sparco for 70 dollars. It wasnt listed for my car but they match. have a look in some nissan manuals for australian models in your local library for a match. If anyone pms me i can tell you what it was off but cant remember of the top of my head.
  13. Neutral used to be called "angel gear" because the engine balances the car and to go round corners out of gear is to not have proper control, you can change gear during a corner but if it can be avoided you shouldnt.learners dont change gears like race car drivers. 90 degrees on the street you should never have to change gear during a corner no matter how hard your driving, only the speed of breaking gear change and acceleration will change. If you want to drift or rally you can use that lack of balance to your advantage but that is not how you should drive or even race a car usually. If you think of maximum speed at the apex for a 90 degree corner in traffic (no lanes to drift over or cut) 2nd gear should usually be about right, even if your not there long.
  14. This is a great manga redub. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBRHetKH4MQ...ch=flying%20car

  16. My mates flatmates cat got in his car and pissed everywhere, after that had to drive everywhere with the windows down. it NEVER went away so he ended up selling it to some bogans for 200 dollars who thrashed it and left it on the side of the road. Cops came to cheak if it was stolen. (old datsun 280c) Sad story,Amazing what a cat can do.
  17. Ok, just reade the first 40 odd pages of this thread and the last 6. Have done some searches and read the guide and would like to ask some questions, Please!. I want to do this for a gts4 r32. as I understand it i can use the gts4 sump with a adapter plate, where do i get it? this is a budget conversion so, I think most important is the loom question, keeping the rb20 loom and an ecu that can comunicate with the attesa are my two biggest concerns. I think you cant plug a rb25det computer into the loom because of the comunication to the atessa system. So, could you plug a gtr pfc into the loom (cheaper than a gts4 one) using bigger injectors i thought maybe this would be a better starting point than the rb20 pfc (if the plugs are the same?), OR how about the rb20 ecu and a e-manage, (I can get the full e-manage kit at a bargain price). I understand that if you try to use the rb20 injectors in the r33 head they wont fit but, If you get the r33 injectors and fuel rail will the r32 loom plug into them? If anyone can clarify this for me i would really apreciate it cheers
  18. Where did you get the idea auctions only have crap cars? Since the auction market is in japan is mainly used by car yards in japan and the existence of a private car sales market is non-existant it would be true to say that the cars people own in japan are the same ones that are in the auctions meaning you are all driving cars that have, at one time or another been through the auctions. 400,000 is the bottom of the price bracket and as everyone in the world is aware cars at the lower price range are not as good as cars at the top, that being said it depends who is at auction on the day as to weather the price is driven far beyond the reserve for a pretty decent car. Car yards are often selling vehicles well bellow there retail prices in japan because thats the way they control there books and keep stock rotating. private individuals in japan dont usually go to auctions so the minor losses or gains even out in the long run. Cheapers cars are picked up cheaper and let go chaeper because they are the ones dropping off in demand. A lack of shacken adds cost to the customer if they purchase the car in japan meaning it sits on the lot longer meaning these are more often in rotation in the lower price range at the auctions making them attractive for export buyers. The car is likely not to have shaken because the owner decided its time to upgrade at the time the shaken is up and use the money towards a deposit on a new car rather than because there is anything actually wrong with it (generally). Its more likely your importer is taking advantage of a market that doesnt really know what theyre looking at and so buying and sending anything cheap they can get there hands on. Do you not have a mechanic that knows anything about skylines that could assess the car before you buy it? If you did the importer may be out of business by now. Good luck, and I hope your mother has stopped crying.
