agreed... a bit high... but none the less, it has been really cold lately... it doesnt use much petrol, and its mostly good for the car... as long as it doesnt do it after like a 30 minute drive then your fine...

problem? so what your saying is, when the car is cold, it ups the revs to warm it up... then when its warm, it stops doing it? where the hell is the problem there?

I dunno, i could probably do most of it myself... that was the plan ill gladly get yours painted at the same time mine is, or even before... its not much, he might need to see your car to get a decent colour match... but ill have to ask him... doubt he will do it for free to be honest

we dont get delete buttons and yeah, i think every question has been asked by now were happy to help lazy people that cant be arsed to use the search function as well though im often one of those people...

i used a light cut and polish (supposed to be for paint) but worked a charm... for the outside crapness that comes and goes... to get to the inside, you gotta heat the oven to 150, chuck em in, turn the oven OFF, wait 15 mins, take out, then pull apart... use tools cause that shit will be hot... and use tools you dont care about cause you will get black sticky shit all over your tools... getting them back together though, i dunno, you may have to buy some new sticky shit... they should be pretty well sealed though... if you got crap on the inside, i suggest you find out how it got in there and fix that too...

never heard that... i also dont see how that is possible... you can run your car without a filter at all and it makes mad induction noise (that WILL eventually blow your motor) so the only reason that it would blow the motor would be by lack of airflow... and i doubt Apexi would release a filter that didnt flow to the necessary standards... which would be kinda hard to make anyway... whichever one of your dickhead friends told you that should get a kick in the shin... hes an idiot...

well you would have to find your own place cause your in Melb... but my guy will probably to it for sweet f**k all... he'll wait til he has a car the same colour to spray, and if its already masked up, just spray it with the car... If time isnt an issue, he may do it for me for free but ill take it to him when i get it off and ask him what he would charge... gotta get it off first...

man im getting jipped my fuses are in the engine bay... but yeah, theres 2 lots of fuses... when we say 'check fuses' we mean both lots... one is above your right shin when you drive, the other is either in your engine bay on the left (from drivers seat) or in the boot?

maybe its your massive wang that does it then...

its possible... but i think everything in that cluster uses the same fuse/power lines... your better off getting a long cable and going straight from the battery... but try it, ive never had that exact problem, so give it a go...

seeing as how i help you with everything i know a painter in Hornsby if your interested... im thinking i might rip mine out tomorrow or the day after at work and start this little project... it looks frigging awesome... a MUST have i havnt had a good look at the back, but if need be, ill take mine to him to get it painted...

you own a 180 sx, what do you care? depends how compliance put it back together... i didnt have a bolt, but there was certainly a spot for it, so i put one there when i replaced my rear speakers... with the rear seats out, undo any obvious bolts you see, try and pull it, if it doesnt come out, find where its holding... dunno whats so different about GTR's you do need to kind of bend it to get it out of its little holding spot... it fits in there very snuggly... cant help you anymore then that im afraid...

did you check your power wires? im a little drunk, so im not sure about anything, but check your power wires... run some wire straight from the battery to the 12V line on your headunit... if that works, then your power wires are Effed in the A somehow... run new ones... you have to try both 12V and Acc, the headunit wont turn on without the Acc one attached... so if you chuck a 12V constant on that, and it works, it means your Acc is f**ked somewhere along the line... either wire or fuse... run a new wire from the fuse to the head unit, if that works, that side of the power works... if that doesnt work, the 12V line to the Acc fuse is f**ked... trial and error is fun be careful also, more info helps sometimes also, i hope that made sense, cause im not proof reading it...
