  1. Hey Matt Nice car that thing turned out to be. Shame my Supra is still there two years on but it will get done eventually . Did you end up getting a new set of brakes?
  2. I understand your position champ. Thanks for the heads up, ill be more considerate from now on. George
  3. I apologise, but that was my first hand experience with them, and when someone takes a failry expensive car there and they put screws into the kick trim wall damaging wiring and putting holes into the cockpit which will collect rust and eventually muck things up i think i have the right to warn people. Defamation is another issue, its not as simple as people make it out to be.
  4. Does anyone want a friggin tissue. Harden the f**k up.
  5. I do like and commend his attitude regarding the NANNY states we live, regulated and taxed to the max on everything.
  6. Definitely agree with youy there, i loved last years rules. When it came to pit stops is where the action was at and the overtaking. Now BACK TO BOREDOM.
  7. That generally happens if the brakes are new, as in new rotors, new pads coupled with the clamping force of brand new rotors in the calipers. Thats why you need to do a good dose of kilometres wearing the brakes in correctly to avoid this issue. I had the same problem after fitting mine two days before a track day. It was a fun 5 laps i tell you, but then they settled down.
  8. Im sorry for being harsh on Webber, but as an elite driver or one of the worlds best drivers, you have a lot to input into a cars handling, driveability and handling. So my question is why is a rookie doing better than him? Surely he has had enough time to test make adjustments, to suit his racing style, instead once again i repeat its always someone elses fault.
  9. God i cant stand Webber. Always whinge whinge whinge, its always someone elses fault or the cars fault. And now there is a driver in the other car it shows he is a useless prick as he always has been. Sorry but i dont like the guy he hasnt achieved jack all in my books.
  10. Please dont use ****. Take it from me, they arent what they used to be. They damaged my GTR.
  11. I think ill rock up with both my rides.
  12. Someone enlighten me to whats going on? Has the land been purchased yet or we are still wasting our time on this? Pardon the blankness i been away for a while.
  13. I did state AS MUCH AS 40kw, i didnt say they gain that amount. Mine gained 20KW without the tune just replacing fuel and injectors, and with tune went up about 40kw.
  14. 99.9 cents all day everyday at the United down Tapleys hill road, is that cheap enough? But somehow i dont see someone in a Mazda 3 switching to e85 for the performance benefit, it really isnt a performance car, i mean the thing probably makes 50kw straight out the factory. The only time they will use it in that sort of car is if it came prepared from factory as a Flex fuel vehicle. The advantages in a high performance car are clear, the cooling benefit, the high octane reading allowing for engines to run leaner without detonation, smoother idle, less break up on top end and then added horsepower increase.
  15. Your missing the point. A car wil get as much as a 40kw increase by switching to e85 over premium. Im not fighting the fact that it is an enviro fuel. All im saying is the prformance benefits are quite large. So if you think tyres is what make horsepower in an engne than thats fine. Id rather beleive what my figures say than someones press release.
  16. Your wrong. My car would ony make 280awkw on 98premium, the day i changed to e85 the car jumped to 300kw with no tuning, and then up to 315awkw with a better tune. So yes e85 does make more power, you do burn slightly more of it, and at the end of the day dont give a hoot how much it costs, i was buying it from scotchers at 1.80 per litre but out at mallala the car is always on redline on every gear change without even the slightest misfire or anything.
  17. My 34 has been runnig on e85 for daily duties for over 9 months now, and there is no issues once tuning and injectors and better fuel pump gets addressed. To run this fuel you have to add the supporting mods you cant just put it in and expect more power or reliable operation. I did it properly once and the car runs the same as on pump fuel sligtly smoother at idle.
  18. Jees i only said that as a joke and all of a sudden it turned into a Wan li debate. And these days KU36's are cheaper than Wan li's $269 for a 285/35/19.
