  11. With the Tas Super Series starting 14th Feb and my car looking like this with no money to rebuild........ Im guessing Round 3 in May is my best bet at this stage. I was looking to improve the car, not repair it!! Im also thinking of droping a 351 into an XE falcon for some club days and then.......maybe! But I have no money to do either at the moment so this year is not looking good.

  16. I guess im lucky I wasnt that close to the action! You have to be careful on the opening lap into the hairpin or somthing like that will happen if your not paying attention.

  19. I have the same or similar problem. Mine just wont go into 4th. It just grates and I just keep trying to get it in. Very frustrating in a race. It's happened the last 2 race meetings, but not all the time. We use redline shockproof and a short shifter. The throw out race is noisy too. The bush on the end of the shifter wore through so we made another thinking that may of been the problem, but it isnt. Its only 4th that it does it.
  20. Well its turns out the points I worked out were wrong and so were the official ones too!! They didnt apply the 1min penaltys' I didnt beat you on the track or in the points LOL And no, 62's wont be quick enough, I maybe possibly could have should of been into the 1's with the new tyres. 62.3 is my PB but since then its been a struggle with one thing or another. That checkers must feel good, its something that has eluded me so far P.S i sent you a message on youtube

  22. Hey. Woolls, you beat me on the track, but I beat you in the points.....by 1!!!! That was courtesy of you Nunny and Finny going TOO fast LOL Hopefully I will get my beast sorted before the next round. Got to take the gearbox out and find out why I cant get it into 4th and find out why I was running around with about 200kws instead of 222. I should of been lapping in the 62's at least not the 4's and 5's. and even worse in the final. Either the ECU has retarded the timming etc because there is a problem or when I fiddled with the boost control in the wet, ive inadvertently changed something. I had plenty of grip with the new treads, but no mumbo!!

Symmons Plains 62.3 Baskerville 61.00 R32 GTS 222kws Modifications Engine: FMIC, pod, 3 inch turbo back, R32 high flow turbo, jjr coils, 040 pump, 444 inj Power: 222rwkw Suspension: whiteline front bar, std rear bar, -3 F camber, -1.5 R camber, std shocks, kings lwd springs, strut bar Tyres: RE55's on 7.5 inch rims Brakes: dba 4000, bendix srt and race removed most of interior (well, we have now jbr90.blogspot.com) only dashboard and seat left and roll cage of course door windows to be replaced with plexiglass no idea of weight, we remove some add some prob slight less than standard now considering the cage weighs 60kgs removed fan blade, using thermo (keep fan blade close by... just incase!!) hoping times will drop by close to a sec at both tracks
