few things ive noticed while scrolling this thread a. 5th gear is not better than top gear. b. who like looking at the drivers helmet in car? i dont. c. sbs do a good job, but the comentators give me the shits. they also have to work on the coverage of a race. sometime i dont know what im watching. d. 10's bathurst coverage is crap. e. mike raymond and C7 was instrumental in what you see today, ford vs holden. f. the v8 supercars is getting boring. this is the start of change. g. the touring car F1 supports have always appeared on which ever channel was showing the F1 (C9 up to when C10 took over) so it wont make a blind bit of difference now h. its quite funny that C7 and C10 are in bed together for the footy but C7 kicks C10 in the balls for the car racing. i. sandown 400 or 500 has been on abc, sbs, C7 and C10. j.mike raymond was ok. he had a sence of humor. even green was ok to. the other "footy" comentators where a pain in the ass. k.progress and more money has seen more camera at races and thats why you get to see just about evrything not because C10 do a better job. l. bogans at the F1? what are F1 fans then? crazy MF'ers.

thats the aussie racing cars weekend. they have made a mistake. my mum might come and watch for a while. watching me win a race or two (hopefully ) make her happy

got to find a fire ex with metal bracket first. anyone know where to get one. the supercheap ones have plastic brackets.

im reading for one!! i did a track day last sunday and i started with 30 F 32 R then to experiment, i let our around 8sec's of air which may of been 8-10 pounds and i went quicker ive only got some Yokohama's and Sliverstone road tryes on. im planning on getting some bridgestone RE55's

no, id have to say my races, at least from where i was sitting

i have no doubt the minute is way off for yet for me, but i will get there or there abouts sooner or later. i could get to 5's with some mod's and after that they wont come easy. you almost got under the minute. best of luck next time all my races were intense except the 3rd race that i won by about 2-3 sec. i gave them plenty of racing room as i wanted to stay on the black stuff and drive home. otherwise i may of made it a bit harder to pass. i had the legs in a straight line, but the handling let me down. baskerville is like that. i reckon if i had of had some decent tyres on i may of been able to go that little bit better. i will have tyres for next time and possible some suppension work too. i had a ball and cant wait for the next club day and really cant wait to start doing race meetings again.

had a blast takin the GTS for a spin had some great races with the Wilson bros in their Mini's and a bloke in a datsun 1600 2 x 1st 2 x 2nd and a 3rd ( should of been 3 2nd's but i hooked 5th instead of 3rd and thought id done the motor) best time was a 1.08.58 stock standard except pod filter and some octane boost reached 170km down the back straight, only when i got a good run onto it. mostly 165km with some comp tyres, camber kit and a few other bits and pieces i think i could do 1.05's target time is the minute mark.

im STILL waiting for some B'Stone RE55 to arrive has anyone got 2 205/50/16 with legal tread depth that they would want peanuts for? slimlar size will do for standard r32 16x6.5 rims.

couple of 205/50/16. im waiting on a couple of B'Stone RE55's from G'year hobart ive got 2 yoko's on the front and 2 bald ones on the rear
