  3. Office airon + desk fan feelsgood Aircon left on at home for the dog Inb4 Leroy says I contribute too much power spikes to society
  4. I don't think zip ties would work here. I think braided lines will need to be made and run it over the engine. Hrmmm Im sure there would be many out there! Might need to do a sneaky mod and cut the bottom of the airbox and fit a pod with another intake down the track if it ever becomes a restriction
  5. Get Iconel ones. I think they are the strongest you can get (someone correct me if im wrong)
  6. inb4 finds his fetish folder on pc
  7. Just a more detailed post of the tune day: Picture of the dyno, you can sort of see the dyno graph in the rear. Graph stops at 4,500 rpm So something was stopping the car from making power and taking timing on the day. At first suspect cam timing or compression. But checked cam timing on the dyno, and did a compression test. ~175psi across all cylinders. Spark plugs changed. Dropped the exhaust. But made no difference. Still stuggling to make more than 310rwkw So Trent tried a run on e85 but it still had the same issue. Car only took about 12 degrees of timing normally about 20. Only bumped up power to 315rwkw @ 4,500rpm It is a suspected faulty injector so off to get it checked. Pulled the injectors out this morning. As we have a suspected faulty injector. A simple quick test shows they seem to be ok. But will be sent away for a more detailed analysis In prep for the Dyno. Scotty @ Scotty Customs did: Turbo install New fuel pump Walbro 460L/H Metal turbo elbow, as a silicone one was a bit close to the manifold New Return flow intercooler bend. As the old one was quite crap Turbo Elbow: Intercooler bend: Things to do over the next month: 1. Fix issue with car that is holding it back 2. Fix heater hoses touching manifold 3. Fit oil cooler
  8. Mmmm good build! Will be keen when you get results
  9. Nice Getting it coated or leave as is? Your manifold would be easy to go on ETA? Have you done a full tune on your existing setup yet?

  17. inb4 track day. Hamish vs Leigh
  18. Yeah can't say I've ever been keen to enter a drag day Happy to drag you down the Sandown front straight as some of the other boys do
  19. Yeah what Hamish said. Im making full boost ~22psi at 4,500 rpm
  20. Yes will be interesting. On the old turbo i got bored quickly on 280rwkw. Also an issue with the old turbo on the track was the powerband, sure it came on fullboost at 4,000rpm but then it would run out of puff at 6,000. New Turbo should give a much wider powerband of 4,500 rpm to 8,000 rpm Will have to take on leigh from a roll on the new setup once its finished
  21. Gee whiz Vice President role hotly contested this year I nominate Richo for el Presidente
  22. Congrats!
