  1. I have a near stock 32 GTR (only performance mods are cat back exhaust, pods and boost restriction valve removed) and was wondering what gearbox oil people would recommend? I have heard Redline Lightweight Shockproof is one of the best. Has anyone had any experience with this oil? I believe it will be about $250 just to purchase enough oil for the gearbox, but if its as good as I have heard then I don't care. The second review on this website is from the owner of a 32 GTR: http://www.redlineoil.com.au/testimonials.asp?CategoryID=3 Any advice greatly appreciated.
  2. I think we worked that out in May... but good on you for adding your 2 cents as 2009 draws to a close. Are you trying to get your post count up or sumthing? You have replied in almost every thread within 'Photography'....
  3. Yummy!
  4. There up to the G37 now....
  5. 32 > s14 series 1
  6. White Stagea behind me this morning on white street, Mordi
  7. I was looking at a daily also, mainly just for going to station, and places where I would otherwise not park etc. I dont care what it looks like etc ONLY that it is cheap and has working a/c. The best option I came up with was a Toyota Startlet... based on what they are selling for I could easily get one for $3k and being a 1.3 they sip petrol. That is for a car that is about 10 years old and has a drivers airbag, a/c and power steer. Only thing that annoys me is paying 2 sets of rego and 2 sets of insurance and 2 sets of maintenance which would be about $1k a year for a starlet I would say. Not too bad a price though for the added convienience
  8. Phaw!!! That looks like a fkn track monster! Any more pics? Any BIGGER pics?
  9. And power point in the glove box for your hair dryer?
  10. Well if that is the case i would be getting somethin a fair bit less than $10k. That way you can save more for the next proper car (after p's). Corolla's for like $3/4k are pretty much trouble free. BUT that is easier said than done
  11. Hey, why did you want a daily when you have an n/a supra?
  12. A civic sedan... haha, you should have told him to get a car worth taking pictures of.
  13. Definitely agree with that! Type M kit looks heaps better.
  14. Looking clean! But wtf re: civic?
  15. The question was did it run wet or dry sump and you responded:
  16. Don't waste your money. s15 is newer, lighter, faster, better looking..... Supra is a Toyota so of course its reliable but s15 is deff better option. No question
  17. Yeah i also dont rate chromies AT ALL! Your current rims look good on the car though. Black on black can look good but sometimes the rim style is a bit lost cause they don't stand out. But time attack's are fkn sweet!
  18. Why would you down grade? I would be getting something like these:
  19. new = newer faster = slower good resale is debatable, mint examples of both models are holding there value as well as each other.
  20. As you said this issue only really occurs on the track when the car is really being pushed. If you are keeping this car for road use then I would not worry about it. Well if its a stock RB26 it would just have stock power.... if you mean modified but with stock internals its a bit of a gamble. They can make over 300+awkw but you run the risk of blowing it up. Forged internals are a safer option. They are ok, but the syncro's in 4th / 5th are not the best even on g/box's with low k's. The 6 speed getrag box in the R34 is spose to be a lot better.
