  1. Your saying its leaking, What do you mean?? Leaking from cooler itself or piping joints IE: Silicon Joints, I think a little more info required
  2. Yeah tuning will help, dont go hard with it as it will just run your car lean and eventually bang if its on base tune, as there is no fine tuning for fuel air mixtures.

Id go there if i had the funds to as im highly interested in results, The Manifold to support this can easily be done with the 6boost design as its split pulse so 3 collectors each side into a t4 flange split type, and could easily be accomodated to be modded into a dual waste true twin scroll manifold, The housing options as far as i know mainly in the high end scale of the turbos these aquired are like T04z split pulse but can easily import the smaller turbo housing choices for aka gt3076 or gt30 series turbos only by import as far as i know you cant get the housings over here? Correct me if im wrong

Yep that is what i have done, repco couldnt get them as well as autobarn, Good ol Highway Nissan has yet again come to the rescue of supply, Gotta love the mark up but hey i had to get them, at $5.10 Each stud, Meh the price you pay doesnt matter, Other places of interest in mind as well for those people in qld i was also refered to Coventry Fastners and QLD fastners as secondary options.   6. Yeah pain in the ass of things, Age takes its toll id say, original studs is another thing, ill try out a couple of places tommrowo for them hopefully ill be able to get one at least in the pitch and thread for it, damn it cheers any way. Im out, catchyas
  7. Yeah i can line the person up to het it out, just was hoping that there was a common replacement, not the obvious track and locate and replace from 2nd hand, might take the advise ill try that idea out tommorow, if anyone has more ideas or info much appreciated still cheers A

You can buy replacements for the rb26 the tomei ones, but i just need one not 28 of the fookers, and it happened to the intake or bearing cap I6 as numbered on them the one with the brass plate attached to it, and yes dan is correct about the bearings as there machined for that specific engine, looks as if it was going to break either way who ever did it as it broke almost instantly first slightest pressure on the damn thing....
  17. Bit of stud broke inside thats what i thought about the stud theory should be able to just threadtech the old one out and replace the stud like any studs head manifolds etc

  19. And yes i followed the correct procedure blah blah blah in how to remove cams etc before ANYONE asks. Yes i have a torque wrench, i also have the manual and i took extra care etc etc didnt rush it.... Cheers A

Bah i got one of our unit people who is a mechanic to give me a hand with them cams, everything going well, and then bang, fkn broke a stud of I6 capstud, didnt even move a bit broke straight away, You would have a spare bearing stud would ya dan? i need one or know where i can get one, IE: repco?

Broke a stud on I6 bearing cap stud for cam shaft, need to know if it is possible to pick one up from say repco, or where i can locate it, also the pitch and thread and M? size of the stud, For RB25det, R33.... Cheers guys, How bloody annoying, first twist and broke off didnt even get to move it at all, And yes i followed the correct order of removal and what not as per the nissan manual, Must have been near the point of no return before i started, If you guys can help me out that would be great. Threadtech on 1300thread here in brisbane seems to be the go to remove it, just need to locate a spare for me, so help me out guys Cheers Adam
