  1. bottomend was stock myself and a mate who is a fully quailified subaru mechanic assembled the motor cam timing was set to 0 oh and for the people this was the workshops idea of matchporting i supplied a full tomei gasket kit for the head to be match ported with which was returned to me COMPLETELY UNOPENED
  2. yer im not happy about having to spend the money again to get the job done properly i feel sorry for anyone else from sydney who has work done by these guys aswell
  3. thats my thoughts and my mates thoughts aswell so far the place who did the work was in syd and was organised thru a "highly" praised person on here however i was extremely dissapointed with everything from them including quote time of 2 weeks for work to be carried out and ending up taking 3 months not to mention i paid the quoted price upfront before the head had arrived sad thing out of all this is there is no one up here i'd trust with looking over it and putting a reason to the damage thats why i originaly paid 150freight each way for the head to get worked on down south
  4. i compared my stock to n1 when i had them both of.. the N1 had alot smaller diameter gear drive setup in it(from memory) not sure wat the difference would be in performance..
  5. it is just one valve valves look fine on the other 5 cyclinder retainer and collect look normal like the rest of them same as shims buckets and everything else its just 1 bent valve.. and 1 dinted piston
  6. well finally lifted the head off the 26 this morning and this is wat i get to see wat are peoples thoughts on wat could cause this? oh and please note the head had been port n polished and full overhaul only 100km's before this happened head was fitted with tomei 260 10.25 cams tomei type a valvesprings and tomei buckets during this work edit:feel free to pm and ask me who it was this first this second . and this

  10. any reason for this and a way to fix it? my motors out.. im fairly confident thats wat has happened with mine..

  12. stock car... and wants front mount number 8 is the way to go in my opinon ive done it to a r32 gtst before and works great
  13. i got mine almost a year ago and indeed they were direct bolt on and the tag did state GT2560r-5

  15. pull your radiator out and get it flushed professionaly at radiator shop(tanks off and core cleaned out properly!) or buy a new radiator
  16. just start pulling it out... somethings let go on all of them.. for 3 4 5 and 6 to have absolutely nothing.. i'd assume valves stuck open/bent/broken or really big hole in pistons either way.. your motors f**ked .. ive got a valve stuck open on number 5 on my 26 at moment.. and it reads 0 compression.. all others read 165psi
  17. my system is simple.. twin 3inch dumps into single 4inch before cat.. 5inch body 4inch in and out metal cat and i only run one jun bl 3.5inch(couldnt find a nice 4inch muffler on the market at the time)mufflers at the back.. is a very quiet system ive found each car ive put a metal cat on its turned out to be extremely quiet so yer.. as others asked are you running cats if so wat are they?

  19. naprec do oversize valves greenline has them and the valve guides to suit.. i think there 1.5mm oversize
  20. wat seats are in it?
  21. hows that drivers seat go with someone about 100kg and 6ft tall?
  22. if thats the same turbo that was on the rb20 when you bought it.. its not a 3540.. is it internal gated or external?
