  1. Depends what it is, does it have a vg30 rear? adjustable wastegate? ball bearing or bush bearing? who made it and when? how big is the front on it? once you have worked all of that out you can find out what it is worth in good condition then make a couple of calls to find out how much to rebuild and from there you can work out how much it is worth in its current condition, maybe only worth the value of the vg30 rear housing, if it has up and down shaft play the front and rear wheels may also be screwed then its worth very little.
  2. Is that for both? If so let me know how old they are and a price for postage to 3200.
  3. So instead of getting nothing you get a brick, have only used it a couple of times but they don't let you open it before you pay. And the end of the day its a risk you take and its up to you to decide if its worth it or not.
  4. Not when I went through them, they even stated that if there was no money in his account then I would get nothing back till there was money in there.
  5. Let me know prices when you split them up, can pick them up any time after Sunday
  6. and how much protection do you think you can get from that? once you have deposited your money it takes less than 7 days for them to get your money out of paypal account, if he does a few of these at once that can add up to a couple of grand, once you have been stuffed around with postage for a couple of weeks that is plenty of time for him to get your money and by the time you lodge a claim his paypal account is empty and you have no chance of getting your money back, he then opens another paypal account and does it all over again. I got lucky when i bought a wastegate that never arrived, i lodged my claim while he still had money in his account which meansd i got it back.
  7. Maybe you should have done a search on here first, this thread is over a year old and there were a few floating around at the time, i believe he also holds the distinction as being the only sau trader to be kicked off sau.
  8. Whats the difference, im sured if i searched for them i would find 30 different ones with very little chance of finding out what a genuine set looks like.
  9. that is correct, seemed odd to me when i was told so i checked it out on a few standard cars (non skyline) and they were all configured like that.
  10. You will actually find that the fluid goes through the radiator after being cooled as it needs to be heated to running temp, just having an external cooler on its own may cool it too much and the auto will not be at its full running temp.
  11. do you mean the red super spark ones? they dont sell them any more, apparently had a lot of failures.
  12. Just in case you have not been told already do not boost it in over drive you will kill the auto real quick
  13. Have i been changing my plugs too often or are you meant to change them every 5k?
  14. Could this be the problem, the one on the left was in there and i replaced it with the one on the right was the one i replaced it with, the contact shaft is heaps shorter on the old one.
  15. Thats how i did mine, threads were already screwed and we couldnt find a claw puller big enough to go over all the pulleys and the smaller one just broke of bits of the smaller dividers between pullys, between the lever bars and buying other tools and just general stuffing about trying different ways it took us 4hrs to get the prick off, once the job was finished and the balancer replaced i took out my frustration on the old balancer with a sledge hammer, was very satidfying.
  16. Are you willing to split them? Im interested in the passenger seat and if it will fit an R33 the rear seat as well.
  17. I wish i had that info before i put mine in, took about a week for the afm to start screwing up, replaced coils, cas, afm and igniter, even had it tuned with the power fc to see if it was the standard ecu that was in at the time, was able to tune around the problem but it wasnt the best, i then told the tuner that it was the only thing that had changed, ripped it out and all was good, after that i wasnt sure if it was f**ked so i sold it as is for a few hundred less than i paid for it after spending another $1200 on parts and tune trying to fix the problem. Also i found the ej1 to be lacking in what it could do, even basic stuff like the oil pressure gauge that you lose from the dash when you put it in a gtst, there is no oil pressure gauge in there, hks camp 2 is much better from the screen shots i have seen.
  18. Gave it a clean when i swapped it with #2 coil, made no difference.
  19. I'm assuming that his fix is for coils that have a spark getting out of the coil instead of going down to the spark plug, if this is the case and mine was doing this then I should have been zapped today when I was playing with the coil with the engine running but I wasn't so I'm assuming its just a worn out coil.
  20. I'm assuming that postage is not added till you go through the checkout, I'm not signed up so I didn't get to the point where they add postage.
  21. I assume you got yours a couple of years ago when the yen was down
  22. $581 plus postage from nengun
  23. What sort of power are you running, did they replace them under warranty?
  24. Crd one of the traders on here was one of the only places I could find that sells them, didn't spend too long looking tho
