You may be able to get close to that (or maybe a bit more) if you use an adjustable fuel pressure reg. Well scrap every thing i said about trying to hide it then.

Does It Feel Like Your R33 Is Outdated?
W0rp3D replied to crazyr33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
My 33 just has a fmic, 3" and a vg30 high flow and it keeps up with the 317 hsv's, and didn't cost any where near as much tho. -
2 Infringement Fines For 'too Dark' Windows

Is there a tint company sticker on it somewhere? if not call around a few places to see if they have the tools to test it before you rip it off. -
Agree, they are the same size as 33 gtst, my stockers hit 100% duty at 210 rwkw, no way they will get you to 300

2 Infringement Fines For 'too Dark' Windows
W0rp3D replied to yesitshim's topic in General Maintenance
Just researched this in vic as I just got my windows tinted, it states in a pdf on vic roads website that no window used to see other traffic is allowed to be darker than legal, only circumstances given where it is legal is bus's where the rear side windows are not used by the driver, as for the rwc, I'm sure they should have picked it up, how long ago was it done? When he defected you did he test it or just say it is too dark? -
Airbrushing If you want some thing different, check out her pics, looks like she does some good work.

Thats one of the reasons why i bumped it, 4 years old now a lot of people may think the threads old so he probably closed down by, just letting people know he is still going and still doing great work.
-
Just thought i would bump this to let people know he is still around. I rang him yesterday arvo, he came out this morning and in the time it took me to get some money out and go to ford to order a gt35 and T3 gasket (which i found out ford dont run a gasket between the manifold and the turbo ) he had 5 broken studs out and then put the new ones in for me since he had the right tool and it only took a few minutes, which would have been closer to an hour for me using 2 nuts. Very happy with his work.

Not if done properly, would be pretty much invisible. One of the problems with water to air is that it is great on low boost anf low flow situations (factory set up) but cant keep up with higher more constant boost, unless your willing to spend thousands on a custom water to air set up then an air to air would do a better job.
-
Good luck with that, your better off looking for the hks camp.

My mates had a front mount, he cut minimal amount of front bar for decent air flow and painted the cooler black, unless you were bending down in front of the car looking for a front mount you would never see it.

I read the first page and im assuming the next 4 are all the same shit. Your first post made it clear, your over the skyline and you want a commodore so go for it, you'll be back tho, i guarantee it! -
Hopefully the judge will see that wayne was the one that started this incident in a public forum where he had no control over what damage may/has arisen from his "i have too much time on my hands" bull shit. He has no links at all to car graphic so all the legal threats he threw out there were never tangeable. The posting of the private emails wont do him any favours though.
-
Well let me know when the problem is fixed and i'll make sau exempt in ad blocker.
-
Well i can only go off what happens in vic, here you get a defect and depending on minor or major you need to get a rwc, you then take the car to vic roads and they check the defect items and your done, if you get an epa notice and have to do an epa test then everything has to be put back to factory, not for a defect tho.
-
Depending on who you get at rta in tassie (and how strict they are) you should just be able to dissconect the turbo add a muffler, a different intake pipe with a pod on it or go back to the air box set up, and you should be right, the 31 i mentioned earlier was actually owned by 3 of my mates, one of them got a defect for something and instead of removing all the turbo set up he just disconnected the wastegate and ran a pipe from the plenum with a pod on it and after a bit of haggling with the rwc guy he managed to get a rwc like that. The benefit with this set up is that everything is in the back so if you do get defected you should only have to make things right in the engine bay, an epa is a different story, best be keeping the stock exhaust that came of just incase that happens. btw do you know what pump he put in to send the oil back to the engine? A good idea would be to make up a bash/cover plate to go under your set up, make it less visible and stop most of the water, dirt and general crud bouncing up into your oil lines.

Thank you, thats all i wanted to know.

And after doing a search on the 3.0 thread i can say that i would have started this topic any way because there are no answers there and no mention of turning it off.

So is there a way now to see who gave the negative, i have a feeling i know who it is, theres only one person on here that i have pissed off, that i know of.
-
I think you have more of a chance of being defected on suspicion, after all the intake pipe is coming from where it normally would if it had a turbo on it, and if you get some one who decides to trace the pipe (all cops carry torch's day and night) then your getting an epa, to make it stealth you really needed to tell your mechanic to put in the extra work when he put it in, about the only way you could possibly hide it, atleast partially, is to chrome the intake pipe to about 3/4 of the way down the engine bay and from there on paint it matt black, get a pod filter and make enough of a hole down the middle that you can slide it over the the pipe far enough that the chrome ends under the pod filter, hopefully that way all they see is a chrome pipe with a pod filter on the end of it and the rest of the matt black painted pipe will not catch there eye past the chrome.
