  1. Already have a custom fibreglass box made to sit inside the 1/4 panel.
  2. I have access to a burson trade account, they have f**k all for the 33, when i bought my gasket i went straight to nissan, the account does come in handy for general service items and any parts for my daily fairlane.
  3. between 2.25 and 2.5, i believe 2.25 from intercooler and up through the gaurd enlarging to 2.5 at the cross over pipe.

  7. most people wouldnt have a insurance approved one as all the expensive ones that people like have colored wires. where as my daily has a jaycar one purely for this reason.

  9. you will have to check on that but a dont think a converter out of a 31 box will fit a 33 box.

  11. Just wondering if you have had a chance to ask your mechanic what sort of oil return pump he used?

Im currently installing a 3540 on my 33 and was wondering if the feed/return water lines have to go in certain sides or can they go either way, ive got banjo barbs to use and if i follow the set up from the old turbo then the one off the block comes around to the exposed side of the turbo and there other one goes to the other side that you cant get at, would prefer to put the one from the block to the closest side and run the other one to the front. Also i have a turbo beanie for it, have been hearing a lot of mixed thoughts about them lately, just wondering if i should run it or not?
  13. how often do you get 40 degree days in the blue mountains, maybe a intercooler spray kit might help if those days are few. Have heard the standard gtr cooler is good till about 400rwkw from memory.
  14. lol, i want mine to do that. is it both windows or just the drivers, if its just the drivers is the switch action loose and floppy, maybe the switch is being pushed back enough under acceleration to put the window up.

He charged me $140 but if i had done it my self i would have to go buy specific tools, and prbably spend half the day or more feeling my way through what i was doing and if i screw up then i will probably have to call him out to fix my f**k up which would probably cost even more again, or i pay $140 there out in 30mins and he puts the new ones in, no damage no headache job done, some things are worth paying some one to do.

  17. bang for buck + personal choice + car usage + budget= every one will make a different decision. But is you dont have 180k to spend a new gtr then you have to adjust to what you can afford, maybe some one dosnt like 34's so yes the 33gtr is the better choice, or maybe they dont like the 33 or 34 and want a 32gtr. BTW cbf reading you whole last post so my point may not have any relation to it.
  18. Well when i do a comparison between performance cars one of the first things i look at is "bang for buck", when it comes to skylines V's new commodores i believe a turbo skyline will win every time.
  19. Does it have a part number on it? If you want send pics to bridgeport13b@gmail.com and i'll put them up, try to get some hi res pics of the where the tail shaft and drive shafts connect and mounting holes, some one my be able to tell what other models it will fit from those.
  20. 1) we are not in 1994 we are in 2010, what they cost new has no bearing, what they cost today is all that counts to me. 2) And every thing else made in 1994 (except maybe volvo lol) 3) hang on you only said 2 things???? 3) that is the difference being a pure sports car and a family car with power. 4) the gen 3's put out much more power in the states where omissions standards are much stricter (most go off the california resrtictions which are the tightest in the world i believe)why cant they release the power here, even when we exported the monaro to the states and europe they had more power than we did, in europe they got an option of a super charger from factory, cant be an emission thing there since i believe we use the euro emission rating system. And for the record the 317 hsv's (not the current ones) put out around 235rwkw, with an exhaust, a mafless tune and a cold air intake they get to about 270rwkw, not all that much considering they weigh 1800+kg.
