  1. http://www.theage.com.au/business/end-of-r...91219-l6l7.html I would assume that since the company is owned by GM the warranty and parts supply would be done by GM dealers.
  2. http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/category12_2.htm Have a look at the middle of the page, dump pipe is a bolt on but you will need oil and water lines which they also sell which will make it a straight bolt on.
  3. maybe a GTT front would match a little better without the pumped front gaurds and smaller front bar.
  4. I was thinking of doing this as well till i saw this pic, the front and back do not match at all, not even close, its like a bmw front on a cortina.
  5. What is the censored bit?
  6. I just pulled mine off the road, to be honest after 2.5 years or driving it every day it got a little bland, now im back in my nc fairlane battle tank, aiming to have it back on the road by easternats 2011 with new paint, engine, diff maybe gearbox and a few interior upgrades.
  7. 509DA Notice Under S.446a of Special Resolution to Wind Up Company Resolved That Company Be Wound Up Under 439c© Would that also mean that there not trying to save it, just shutting up shop and selling off all assests to pay debts, sounds a bit odd if the above statements are true that the AUS section is performing well.
  8. Was funny to me, do you know who the guy is?
  9. No idea on top speed, i guess over 300 since the dash was 320 from memory.
  10. Obviously the dash its self would not fit but the ej1 may work, it has jumper settings on it for different engines so it may work with a 32, the output is just an rca so it will hook up to any aux input on an in dash screen.
  11. I only once used 95 when 98 was not available and even then only chucked in $20 worth to get me to a servo that did have 98.
  12. The term third party does not even apply to the tac insurance as third party (as in third party fire and theft) covers some one else when you f**k up but does not cover you, whereas the tac insurance is there to cover any personal injury regardless of whether the other person has rego (although i could be wrong on that one, thankfully never had to make a claim). And yes, when i hear the term third party i assume its something through an insurance company, as oppposed to the TAC charge which i have always known as TAC insurance, not compulsory third party.
  13. It would work if you have a filter on the end of the pipe and you are not using the standard piping set up going through the gaurds, the same set up used with fmic's to avoid cutting holes in your inner gaurd to route the piping over the engine.
  14. So what you are pointing out is that it is CTP in nsw and a TAC charge in victoria, being that this thread is in the victorian section then we are talking about the TAC charge. Now that we have established what had already been established what was the point?
  15. Thats the only name i have ever known it by.
  16. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Regist...s/TACCharge.htm
  17. So i believe you are actually refering to the TAC insurance which i believe is not third party it covers you and other drivers for personal injury only.

Nice, the build im about to start will involve a 3582r so i should be up to your speed by the time its done, what else have you guys done internally?
  19. Since when was there a law brought in saying you had to have 3rd party?
  20. Whats the model number on the amp and if you split it would you be willing to send to vic?
  21. That is neat, i had one a bit different, sold it a while ago as i decided to stay internally gated, here is a pic:
  22. Do you already have the turbo? if so just pull off the intercoller piping in the engine bay, measure from the face of the flange on the exhaust to the strut tower then measure from the face of the flange on the turbo to the furthest side of the comp cover, add 2.5" and see where you are at, then post it up here coz i would like to know as well. As for it being a cheap chinese part some are good some are bad, this one looks pretty simple with not a lot that could go wrong, whilst it is better to get name brand stuff sometimes little things like this sometimes have no difference from the name brand stuff. I also dont believe that the 90o venting will make much of a difference, all a wastegate does it relieve pressure before it gets to the exhaust housing.

Cruised with you guys for a while, as well as the fd, merc, s15, gemini, couple of vl's and some pink thing, my passenger gave you guys the thumbs up at one stage. What does WYTJET have in it, my passenger (a V8 man) cant believe that a 25 can be that quick.
  24. Here is a reallity check for you, there are 3 options below but you can only choose 2 of them: 1) cheap 2) reliable 3) fast Pick any combination of two and the third one is not possible.
