noticed the brake booster location.. your car's left hand drive? i do realise that my car will also near-stall if i block the blow off too, however i don't think the bov has anything to do with crank case pressure because its just a valve that regulates the air in the pre-throttle pipes when the throttle is shut

GT1.0z is actually full stainless, with their proprietry coating on the tip to make the burnt titanium effect nice exhaust though, flows well and very light, good luck with the sale

you're right.. didn't read properly that said, see if the new turbo has OP6 on the exhaust housing, if it does then its probably a VG30 turbo.. i thought the VL turbos have the wastegate flap on the dump pipe?

it is water cooled looks like an r33 turbo to me. and this looks like the coolant feed. both the compressor and the exhaust housings point towards an r33 turbo if the compressor turbine is made of steel then it's from series 1 R33, if it's nylon then its S2 R33

+1 it will get a bit louder once you change the dump and cat i always thought super draggers are loudish... complete the system first and then decide wether you'd want it to be any louder the exhaust i have on sale was quiet as on my mate's car with stock cat and aftermarket dump, but loud on mine with metal cat, dump, and hiflow turbo

also the high flowed OP6 will also make your exhaust a lot louder...

I've got a VG30 hiflow from GCG, it kicks real hard at 4000rpm when it gets full 16psi, boost build up isn't too bad before that but not as responsive/ linear as GTRS or R33 highflow. GCG's advised that the OP6 hiflow is good for top end, and the rb25 power thread suggests that people are pulling about 270rwkw with it. not sure what GTRS is rated but I'm guessing that the OP6 will pull bigger number while GTRS is a better option for better response

i'm sure the 92z do as well, but i dont know about the 96r. 96 is louder than 92, i'm not sure what the physical difference is between the two, it might just be a difference in terms of the size of the strictor, or that one has restrictor one doesnt kakimoto states on their website that 06R is a hybrid of 92z and 96R + the titanium looking tip but i was told that 06R is just 92Z with the ti look tip, the db rating on kakimoto's website is 93db for 06R, so it kind of makes sense, but i've never compared it before
