I guess the パン, which could mean "pan" or "bread", was meant to be パンプ "pump"? otherwise it didn't make sense at all, since there's no such thing as water pan- so seems like another typo there the direct translation of "ニスモRスペックインターナルコンポーネンツ (スベックシート11A参照)" is "nismo R spec internal compenents (refer to spec sheet 11A)" インターナル= internal, not combustion have you got a scanned copy of the 11A? also it mentioned steel turbo impellers- "ターボチャージャーメタルインテーク&エグゾストインペラーズ" directly prounces "turbo charger metal intake & exhaust impellers" in English In addition to the エグゾスト typo, I've never seen Japs use the word impeller (インペラー) to refer to turbine, the most commonly used term is ホイール which is just wheels. インペラー referrs to fans attached at the end of pumps, like liquid pumps or power generators (alternators) besides they don't use plural for 外来語 (foreign loan words), so インペラー would be better sense thanインペラーズ ("ズ", pronounced "zu") even though you're referring to both intake and exhaust wheels. another one is アッセンブリー, which stands for assembly. in the automotive industry they use ASSY or アッシー. use of the word アッセンブリー makes sense but just not something that you'd normally see on a Japanese automotive catalogue. anyway, there's no definite right or wrong in any language, but here are just some differences I've picked out from what natives would normally use, which is quite a fair bit from just over half a page. If anything it looks like an English native Japanese beginner wrote this. cheers

funny how nismo made a Japanese mistake in their list of mods... exhaust is エキゾースト (ekizo-suto) not エグゾースト (eguzo-suto) 11A refers to internal components, don't think plenum's internal? and out of curiousity, what's an N1 water oil pan assembly? it is still a real nice ECR33 though

yup.. photos here! -
I have a urethane gearbox mount for R33/ R34 RWD for sale it is assembled with modified factory gearbox mount, so you can still retain the exhaust front pipe mount. the condition is quite new, it helps transmitting power to the rear wheels, so you get less power loss and noticeably better throttle response asking for $100, pickup welcome from st leonards, can post at buyer's expense

Vg30 Gcg Hi Flow Or Gtrs On Mild Modded Gts25t ?
chiksluvit replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
went for a drive with andymoocow today, and i must say that the GTRS' response is noticeably better than the OP6 hiflow both turbos are quite linear, yet GTRS feels like it has a fatter torque curve throughout the rev range the OP6 GCG has that second of lag on downshift acceleration, with GTRS, this is almost unnoticeable. my boost is limited to 16psi with AVCR and still standard actuator, whereas andymoocow's GTRS is running 18 psi, this may affect the overall performance. But overall you get what you pay for. -
Vg30 Gcg Hi Flow Or Gtrs On Mild Modded Gts25t ?
chiksluvit replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
just an update on the GCG hiflow with OP6 rear housing I had to get a boost leak sorted (repositioned cooler piping and tightened a hose clamp), base timing reset to 15 (mechanic didn't do this properly when i got a major service) and ECU tuned by Toshi, who did a great job! OP6 GCG hiflow wasn't as laggy as I thought it was, it was surprisingly linear, less lag than GT2540, you can see positive pressure from just over 2000rpm and full 17psi from 4000rpm it doesn't have the midrange rush like the R33 GCG high flow, but provided a very linear delivery with strong top end, which i think is great for track, whereas the r33 GCG hiflow will be good for street. don't know what the max power figure is though, as the tune is done on the road, one thing Toshi did mention is that he thinks it drives simillar to hypergear OP6 highflow for the price of $2000 new, complete bolt on ball bearing unit, i think it is good value for money -
Here is the photo of the GTR rear pods just trial fitted them and found out-- They are actually for GTR!!! they will still fit GTST but the extended ends will stick out a bit the extended ends had some chips and were repaired by the owner before me, ready to be repainted and installed Seeing that the PM system isn't working, please message me or call me on my mobile in my signature for anyone interested in anything..

yeah thought about that.. problem is i couldn't because of the way the catch can is designed- can't open it up i could only stuff the stainless steel wool in through the fittings i'm using the thicker scourer type of steel wool, not the cotton look-alike soapy pad type
-
has anyone ever had issues with the intake sucking bits of stainless steel wool with the recirculating setup? that's my setup exactly, though i've never had any steel wool ended up in the turbo, i'm just a bit paranoid that this may happen
