  1. and this is why its so quiet... it's exactly like having a weld in silencer, with < 2 inch exit... the photos are taken from a newer version of kaki N1, but i think the regu 06 is the same on the r33, not sure about r34, and this exact same design also applies to the rear cannon of R34 GTR super Ti from fujitsubo thing is, you can't have a cannon style muffler and be quiet without restriction. its just not possible, even if you have a oval resonator in the middle so if you have a quiet cannon, have a look inside and this is what it's most likely going to have
  2. high flowed R34 turbos make more power than high flowed R33 turbos, it has bigger exhaust housing you'll need to put up with a little bit more lag but nothing major, tuned well it should peak around 20rwkw more or so than R33 high flow
  3. It's an interesting topic, been watching this space for a while and I was hoping for Sydney's top Japanese tuner to respond to this.. it is good to get some insight about this from Toshi seems like the tuning method between Japanese tuners and Australians are not too different after all, its just the mail order tunes that are richer for margin of safety
  4. check the factory bov plumb back pipe, there might be leaks causing engine to suck in unmetered air and check/clean AFM
  5. The relay assembly is the black plastic thing on the ABS pump unit, which you can disassemble from the pump quite easily if you unplug it and take it off, shake it and you can hear something loose, then it means you'll need new relays there are 2 relays in the assembly, probably easier to get a used assembly than trying to fix it..
  6. I thought R34 non turbo hubs are the same as R33 GTST? If that's the case, I don't see why they'll be any weaker than GTT hubs since they're made out of steel GTT hubs are made of aluminium to reduce weight
  7. that's quite common on R32s.. my old R32 developed rust there too
  8. yeah i just did my welch plugs too... they are fine as long as the coolant is flushed regularly and that you don't just use water better to be safe than sorry, leave it for too long and it'll start to piss out water one day from the block when you're driving..
  9. being 3 inch some bottom section of the dump will definitely hang slightly lower than the rail, but i think this dump still has decent clearance since i never scraped it before even though the car was lowered a lot before when i bought it, it was low enough to dent a catback, but never did any damage to the dump with this installed, if you bend down and have a look you can only see half of the pipe, while the other half will be covered by the rail
  10. turbo sold Items left: Flywheel $50.00 3 inch JJR bellmouth dump / front pipe $90 R33 series 2 GTST rear seat $40
  11. and dump pipe price drop to $90! come and take these away! new price list: R33 turbo $50.00 Flywheel $50.00 3 inch JJR bellmouth dump / front pipe $90 R33 series 2 GTST rear seat $40
  12. just consolidating all my stuff for sale into one page.. R33 turbo $60.00 only has the intake, exhaust and centre housing ie. no rotational assembly. Suitable for highflows, exhaust housing is already high flowed by GCG recently, so you can get a discount of about $280 if you bring this back to GCG for high flow, since they only need to high flow the intake housing and put in new seals/ rotational assembly Flywheel $50.00 came off R33 gts-t, just needs machining. 3 inch JJR bellmouth dump / front pipe $100 for R32 and R33 gtst mild steel, good condition, bolts right up R33 series 2 GTST rear seat $50 in good condition, pick up only open to offers but please no low balling Located in Chatswood area of Syd, I can post these except for the rear seat at buyer's expense
  13. adding a 3 inch JJR bellmouth dump / front pipe for sale for R32 and R33 gtst mild steel, good condition, bolts right up $100
  14. the rear + centre + compressor housings + actuator the whole lot for $60, check my signature for link to my sale page for photos... only the rear housing is high flowed though, done by GCG, they also use garrett parts when they high flow turbos, so it would've been done to garrett specs so with your price of $575+$60= a bloody good buy for a highflow turbo with garrett internals that will make just as much power as an R33 highflow, if you're still selling it though
  15. sounds like a good turbo, at a good price too gl with sale buddy this turbo can be boosted higher than stock rb25 turbos since it's got steel internals the stock rb25 turbo for $200 from me is no longer available so this is a good option anyone interested in a high flow for their rb25 can buy this turbo and my spare high flowed exhaust housing + intake housing for cheap, swap the exhaust housings over and there you have a very capable turbo that can put out 250rwkw
