  2. HiSk, Can you help me measure up the spring rates for the Tein HA coilovers please? I only had them measured the Springs which are round and not the flat bits at the bottom end of the spring. Front. Coil OD :116mm/97mm Wire OD :14mm # of coils : 6.5. Rears. Coil OD :95mm/95mm. Wire OD : 14mm # of Coils : 8.125 Thanks Buddy.
  3. Called Nick from Shannon this week and got 2 of my dad's car insured with them. Man they are good, he beats AAMII prices by40%. GOOOOOOOOO Shannin and Nick who helped me.
  4. congrats man i know how you fell man!! it will be you "NEW ADDICTION" hahahah!!
  5. which HID brand did you get?
  6. hmm did the car failed the emmesion pretty bad? Then how are the 350Z sold here? and the V35? Who did you import through?
  7. For A nissan Stagea it has the R33Gtr Brembo brakes on it. How much for a front and rear? Std, sloted and dimples? Let me know thanks
  8. 30sec! mine only took about 5 sec to warm up mine 6000k though You should switch back to 6000k cos you will be squinting to see at night while driving. The higher the temp the harder to see at night. 6000k is the best but not when during a rain or foggy days. Below 6000k us the recommended one although im very tempted to get a 3000k ones (yep bright yellow ones) But i dont know wheter is it legal for road use or not.
  9. well i dont know wheter its good or not cos its a Tein HA. I never used a Tein suspension before nor the springs.
  10. llok around and refer back to us and we will try to help you with it.Cos theres so manu brands out there. i cant remember my brand but mine is a bit expensive. Look at the group buy section. Theres one GB going on i think.
  11. just renewed my dad's cars with shonnon and the insurance costs drop by almost 50% compared with AAMI. cool huh?! so now im with shanon
  12. i hit a bumpy road the other day traveling like 120kph and the car when all over the road!!! The suspension that i have now is JECS. And guess who OWN JECS?! Hitachi!! i think. But yea i want to know whether with 8/6 will cause the car to go all over the road when it hit bumpy road at high speed?! Thats why Sk set up os very tempting. But the setup that i want is the one with eibach springs which costs like A$2.2k. That will have to wait till i saved up first.
  13. opps soz npw i remember yea its H4 Hi/Lo all in 1 bulbl
  14. hehehehh!!!! but anyways are the spring rates usable in Oz? Like 8/6 is comfy in Japan but wat about oz road condition?
  15. of course you can stand it cos your ass is made outta of steel
  16. Hi Sk, for a suspension with a spring rate 8kg/mm is it going to be rally bumpy in a stagea? Let me know. thanks
  17. with all the internals that your are doing are you upgrading the injectors, FPR and fuel pump? Bigger turbos? If you are you should be making well over 350kw@4wheels. And i hope that you got a 4" exhaust to match that as well. if not that will be your lomotation.
  18. agrees with Micah. you will definetely pay less with a stagea. Try shannon insurance and look for xavier or nick or vince. I think they came to the SAU meeting and was introduced in the meeting. I assume they will look after you . Tell them you are from SAU though.
  19. i will bet its on the seal where the shaft comes out of it.
  20. if i remember correctly it is a H4 single beam. I did the xenon direct conversion on mine. It really makes a difference. you might want to only use 6000k or below and not use higher cos its actually illegal to use higher than 6000k. Theres alot of HID conversion going around. keep us informed when you eyeing out for one and i will try to give you some comments. Bsically you try to choose kits thats got ISO standard and E mark certified ones.
  21. you running on 2wd or 4wd? hmm roughly about 140-150kw, i should say it also depends how many kms has the engine done?
  22. im 32 and wats your theory? I have a wife and 2 kids. Dpmt think your theory apllies on me.
  23. err first of all you gotta to tell us where are you based in?????? right? then we can go from there.
  24. use only ATF and i used Mobil
  25. First of all when i purchased the 260rs i didnt test drove one or even sat in one before . The symptoms that you are describing does it happen everytime when you are conering? Left and right? Does any of your warning lights on at all? You might wantto check the ATTESA fluid located at the back oof the boot area. Drivers side. It might look its more than the maximum line when cold but after warm up it should be on the dot. Where did you take your rig to be serviced at? Is he a skyline specialist? Now for the Oils. !. engine oil i sued Mobil1 syn but my tuner whack in Castrol(switching back to Mobil on the next service). 2. Fron Diff and Gearbox Mobil gearbox oil. 3. Rear Diff Mobil LSD. 4. Transfer case Mobil ATF( this is important to use ATF only). All the diffs, gearbox and tranfer case i added Nulon additives into it. Im going to add Slick50 engine treatment to the engine on the next oil change. Hope this helps you abit. How many liters of oils were used in each component? Also your rig is only a few months old on the road(max. 8mths?) and you need new tyres already? It seems weird. Yudy
