  1. I spotted this build on drift works a while ago. Tuff car. Good move with the wiring mods. It's defiantly a fault with r32s wiring to create high resistance and voltage drops.
  2. Good work. Did you sort your oiling Issue?
  3. So you have any details on them? I've been keen to get some lips made for a while.
  4. Hey mate. Is someone making new bands for them to widen them?
  5. i would have one. avalible to collect when ever your up this way. pm me if you like.
  6. the past few races has seen less rubber left on the track also. my just be a coincidence but it used to be a joke by the end of a race there was a clear racing line maked with rubber. maybe who knows?
  7. I'm after a pair of lenso d1r rims in 17 x 10 + 15 or any other rims around that size. If anyone knows of any.
  8. some incar from the weekends drift prac. bloopers at the end
  9. Log it stationary. Give it a big rev then let off and do it 5 times in 20 sec then put the log up. The rpm signal is very ruff and doesn't seem right. It mite be logging to frequently
  10. There is a bunch of people racing and drifting on Rotas and they are standing up to them. They look just as good as the genuine wheels just usually not as light or strong. Boost automotive sell rotors for the same price you can get them off the net and they can fit the tyres ect ect.
  11. Are you coming to Tas to do a round Simon? Who's car are you driving?
  12. Hey Pete if you didn't already know its really easy to add a stripe to the wheels. You can either buy some red pin stripe or cut a pice out of vynal. It can just be a strait pice. As you put it on the wheel it will flex as such and turn a strait line into a curved line. So no need to paint it or cut out round stripes. I have done this neumerous times to wheels on a race car I used to look after.
  13. right o, ive been slack getting these up but this is how the car looks now. round 2 was dismal weather wise and the sun only came out once i loaded it up to go home. So a BIG thanks goes to Boost Automotive who are helping me out for the remainder of this year. They are able to supply racers with full support in parts, labour and advice. I currently use their services for: Power plus E85. Drift tires and race tires supplied and fitted. Dyno tuning. garrett turbos and much more. http://www.boostautomotive.com.au/ Levee Food Co for their on going support. Kerry has supported all of my motor sport since the start of this car. its also a nice place to dine with friends or unwind on a sunday arvo on the deck drinking beers. http://www.leveefoodco.com.au/ And my newest addition from a good mate. Kings Meadows Sea Food, for the best original fish and chips. My mate Dimi has recently taken over the family business where i have eaten for the past 14 years. and they have continued to grow while all the others seem to disappear. Dimi has also filmed and photographed my car from the outside since my original 4 door. he's also been there to assist when ever ive needed the help. Im running at a Drift Prac this weekend and will be trying to sort a few of the handling issues ive started to notice. looking forward to having a free run with no pressure and heaps of laps available. the past 2 events i have only had 14 passes including 2 qualifying runs and my battles.
  14. Thanks Toffy. I've found that you need to see stuf for yourself in life and learn from your own mistakes. I also like to do something a bit different and whist it isn't always a success it's individual and I have a good time learning.
  15. I have a S14 subframe. (for sale) non hicas. better geometry than the S13 thats the only reason they are better. pPM me if your interested.
  16. i run a miss match depending on what i have and what rims are available. the last few events i have run 235 40 18 dunlops on r34 gtr rims. 18x9. they are light weight. and 285 35 18 Kuhmo on the rear but will be changing to 265 40 18 dunlops (due to availability and advice) on a pair of 18 x 10 light weight rims. i am running r34 gtt stock rotors and calipers. they take the same pad but the rotors are 30mm bigger diameter. Pads are once again what ever i can get cheap. currently running Padjit pads. im pretty gentle on the brakes as i tend to lock them frequently.
  17. oh they look like a production type thing. do you have any bracing under the boot lid? i may have missed it.
  18. loving the alloy canards. i made some about 3 years ago and was laughed at. been hesitant to make any new ones. i seen in a build thread for an american R35 time attack car they made canards out of alloy. they were far easier and cheaper and did the same job. are the uprights for your wing an off the shelf item?
  19. i have a pair of fronts. $50
  20. What are you doing with your d2r's Pete?
  21. Bursons is where I get mine. If they will do a good cash deal or trade price it's almost as good as net prices. I think I have brought 4 off them. Easy to deal with ect. I have also placed orders through exedy australia for custom clamp rates and they ship them off to Bursons for delivery.
  22. thanks mate. im hoping ill have more than one good battles at the next few rounds. for the people that like to watch vids here is a very cool vid put together for round 2. the weather was bullshit wet so i have a poor mount to pics and incar. will upload soon enough.
  23. its probably a vipec issue. i know of a bloke having similar issues with his vipec recently. hopefully you will sort it out easily thoe.
  24. this will fit a r32 with about 100mm added in the middle. just to open up the options.
