boost automotive sell the lenso's cheap. ive got d1rs on my car. plenty of motorsport and no issues. i did have my eye on the d2r's boost have in there showroom. in the right offset they taper back in making them look very agressive. oh and when you ran that 10 sec was prob about the first time i had ever gone to the drags. have yet to see anything as impressive. haha. not that i go and watch that often

Better Flowing Intercooler For Rb25 In R32
DJRIFT replied to Russman's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
do you actualy know if its the cooler core causing the problem? you should take the cooler off. plumb in a pice of pipe and run it up on the dyno to see if anything changes. you could be chasing the wrong thing. wasting time and money trying to solve it. -
they dont fix the rear sub frame they dial out the anti squat which r32 and s13s have to much of. some of the circuit r32s have done it down here with measurable gains. aprox 1 sec a lap on a 60sec track. you could also use a r33-r34 subframe. its not just a bolt in between them thoe. the diff mounting is the biggest problem. hicas and all arms are the same the only difference being the lower control arm mounts to the subframe differently. if you have a look in the last few pages of my build thread i think there is some good info on it. if not i have a ton of pics of the differences between the differnt subframes that will show you what i mean.

what info did you get from the pits jack? keen to learn more. i belive that there is a particular amount that the difuser should rais by as it goes inwards of the car. to grate and it wont work. but to make it work regardless you really need to have a full flat floor. regardless of if they work or not they look tuff in my opinion.

Track Battle Australian Time Attack Series
DJRIFT replied to GTR32G's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
ive just had a quick look over the sup-regs and while it says as above, later in the sup-regs it says frp front and rear quarter pannels are allowed. i cant see the difference between bolting on wide body guards and flairing the stock guards. im also guessing that the above is there to prevent major bodywork mods. its an interesting read and i am asuming that rules would be hard to make to try not to narrow down the field but its interesting to read that "direct replacment adjustable arems are allowed" meaning rose jointed arms which arent road legal. with almost every other rule pointing to normal ADR road rules i would have thought that these arms should have been opted out. the better option being aftermarket bushes for adjustability. just my point of view to keep a level playing field. -
move this to the forced induction section of this site and you mite get some sort of replys.

Nurburgring Or Drifting In Japan Anyone?
DJRIFT replied to MAS_R33's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
my mate has been looking into doing a driving trip in another country. he recently did a 2 week motorbike trip around japan. he came across this site only a few days ago. no prices to go on thoe. -
ive drifted with hydros and with standard r32 setups and it seems to come down to the quality of the install/intial setup (bleeding) to the quality of how it works and its side affects.
-
you need some "NOT GTR" plates for it or if your borat you could have "GTR NOT" wing=high looks good

surely with the price of vynal wraps coming down it wouldnt be that dear to have them done on printed vynal? i havent personly seen a layered sticker for years. if a local company cant print them cheaply than we can look interstate. i have delt with 3-4 sign writers in launnin that are able to do what we want just the price varys. i know a few years back that drifting tasmania got there windscreen banners and alike done by a victorian guy cheap as. so id be looking to have a better quallity sticker and then find a place to do it at a realistic price. good quality stickers will last for years.

someone definatly needs to draw one up with the S on top of the AU in the map of tassie. i think the free hand style of your #3 #4 ones autumn is pretty spot on. also the blue needs to be lighter. if you have a look at the nissan adds that come up on the top of these forums the text is about the right colour blue.
-
i think the 6th one from the first lot of autumns ones is pretty close with a bit of refining. i think sticking with the "S" above the au is sticking with the skyline way. and the map of tassie is all thats needed. clean and simple. but id profer to see a more freestyle type of map of tassie. somthing that still gives the shape but just not as formal as at the end of the day if a club is formed it would be good to think of it is a casual thing, much like the Queensland writing on theres or the ruff scetch wa one. dont take any of this to hart just throwing my think tank into it all. so if anyone can scetch somthing like that up it would be good. oh and the sticker probably doesnt need any background as such. just use the tassie map as the background with the sau on top. so the tas map could be black/white with apropriat writing on top. 2c

not really what you are after but ill throw it out there. ive got brewers old work equips. 17x 8.5 17x 9.5 id guess around the +20 offset. tuff looking black center polished lip. if you keen ill get you a pic and price.

see what i said before. if any of you SAU guys really want an event than the quickest way to make thing happen will be to go through an established club. on a side note of that. there is quite a few car clubs for the size of our state so making one more that does the same as the rest will only spread resources thinner. just somthing to consider.
