  1. Is it a 33 or a 34? Someone make their minds up! What sort of V8... 202, 186, or 6.2Mag HO MPI ?
  2. Try Steve @ SST Automatoive he has some new Nippon Denso pumps that flow better than the 044's & are cheaper.
  3. Hey that's what i did! To match the GTR interior. Good Luck, & wish you guys the best, we just had out first child a baby boy who's now 9weeks old. Regarding the seat, I didn't have any problems fitting in the GTR, just got one of the RACV guys to fit it. No headaches for $35.
  4. Ferni, If you can hold off, I am in the middle of negotiation a permenant "hopefully unbeatable deal" for all SAU members on EXEDY Clutches & Flywheels. Wouldn't it make more sense to change your flywheel the same time you do the clutch?
  5. More than likely it'll be a [sticky] in the For Sale section.
  6. Now there's a rice [i mean Nice] option ... FNF.1 FNF.2 FNF.3 Personally DRIFFT, looks alright, and the price seems reasonable.
  7. BJ, that's looks great, when do you think these will be ready? & if anything, what's the hold up?
  8. Simmo, If you do a search, you'll see this topic has been covered with some great information, especially by SydneyKid, Doughboy, Warpspeed & others. To answer your question HKS GT2530's.
  9. See pic attached, if it's like that I can help you put it together. Some prick badged mine also, so over the weekend I swapped the barrels myself. I got mine from Mark Gibbs Panel House in QLD for $45 + delivery Tel: 07 3808 8737 INASNT can help you here his car if full of colourful plastic ornaments. Seriously I think ther's a thread in Maintenance on this...hang on here's the thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=31286 PM me if you need help.
  10. Rumour has it, the Japs took the saying NUR from "Eddie Murphy's Delirious" the bit where his holdind the Ice Cream, yelling "NUR, NUR, NUR, NUR, I got an ice cream, I got an ice cream" It's short for the german track [spelling] Nurbenhring ~
  11. Also, [someone correct me if I'm wrong] the closer your actuator is to your boost target the less harder your EBC need to work. A problem with single soleniod ebc's is they cant keep up with the demand of a twin turbo. The HKS is a dual soleniod & has a unique stepper motor.
  12. I went down this path with my PFC, and in the GTR World, it's the opposite. The PFC Boost Kit, is a single soleniod unit, apparantley similar to the Apexi AVC-R with less features. After speaking to my tuner & one of Austalia's best GTR tuners ben @ racepace, their replies to my question which EBC for my GTR is best "without any hesitation, the HKS EVC 3, 4 & onwards" Others may have different opinions, but I'm always trusting the above 2 tuners opinions.
  13. Guys, I'm currently in negotiations of arranging hopefully "unbeatable" deals on all eXedy Clutches for SAU Members. Will have more info after the 15th of this month.
  14. Nooooo not again. I spent all of 2003 searching up the "latest" on the Next GTR. I hassled the Nissan Au head office & the Melbourne dealership that much they banned me from anything nissan I'm put off anything that combines these two words "Ghosn, Nissan". As far as I'm concerned after his words of wisdom QUOTE "2007"...."Ghosn" can stick his new gtr in between his renault, his porsche & his croissant :upurs:. PS: Have you received my email ?
  15. I found it... they're called custom carbon & EDIT: & Benm is right they're in QLD. http://www.customcarbon.com.au/default.html
  16. thank predator... that's the name I was looking for. http://www.customcarbon.com.au/
  17. Has anyone seen that MPG flying around the net, where Montoya is walking with his misses, not looking where he's going whilst the camera man is filming Bernie in the Ferrari van, and Montoya walks head first into the camera and start swearing his columbian mouth off.
  18. I remember seeing an interview about Senna many years ago. The guys they interviewed said, senna was the sort of racer that hated loosing full stop "especially to prost". If he wasn't going to win a race, he'd either try to run first place off the road, or retire himself out of the race. Montoya sort of reminds me alot of Senna, he's driving style is agressive, and he sooks if he loses. Though not my favourite of drivers, as long as Montoya's racing makes for good viewing.
  19. I remember seeing a thread about a mob in Queensland "I think" that make anything you want out of carbon fibre. I think theyre called carbon king .com.au or something like that.
  20. *1. For RB26's the standard cams are hard to beat.* Why do people swear that cams are a must? I think I read a post of yours, saying the RB26 has 248~ cams. I was looking into a cams upgrade using stock internals with the GT2530's, but wondered which cams setting were best for my street application around 550-600hp. I noticed the Mines car has 2 types of set-ups, whats the difference and do I have to change anything else eg: valve springs... etc IN 252°/lift 9.1mm IN 260°/lift 10.2mm EX 252°/lift 9.1mm EX 252°/lift 9.5mm *4. Combination split dump and engine pipe, you need a combo because the replacement split dumps only, are too short and don't keep the wastegate exhaust away from the turbine for long enough (needs to be 400 mm minimum). In this case, longer is better. You need to follow it up with a good exhaust system. In other words dont bother with the HKS Dumps? I figured whilst they're fitting my GT2530's I could fit a set of HKS Split dumps at the same time. Cause the ones your talking about [Trust] are worth a fortune. But your not the first to say this, my tuner said the difference between the HKS dumps & stock dumps was virtually nothing. Like this SAU Member "Harry" from the UK has one on his car, & pointed me to a great thread that's goes into detail about them. From what I remember, they cost around $2-2.5K, weigh about 8kg compared to 14kg, and did have drawbacks, something along the lines of reliability & could cause stress on other components. best to read the thread, or maybe someone else can correct me.
  21. gimme about 2weeks I might have mine up for sale out of a Series 3 98 GTR
  22. You kiddiing, this is great! However, I reckon it should be moved to maintenance sections under D.I.Y
  23. Having owned a MY00 WRX some years ago, and receiving the quarterly letters from the EPA for a noise inspection... I remember having a conversation with the boys at McLeod & the old Laverton office's about my exhaust. They mentioned the fact that my cat was not in its original location "up close toward the dump pipe extension" and my new exhaust system had the cat located towards the centre of the car, meant it did not comply with ADR Rules, regardless of noise dB. He said if I wanted to keep it in that location I had to get a "ADR or Engineer test thing-a-ma-bobby" which would cost approx $3K, and if it passed then I could keep it. <---EDIT: This also applies to any mod other than factory. All in all, the laws "especially in VIC" THE PLACE TO BE defected, are ridiculous & none of the involved authorities have a consistant view on these issues. Oh... EPA & alike have nothing to do with Road Worthy Certificates, so although your car passes a RW doesn't mean it passes EPA/ADR. All I can say is either get out of VIC and live somewhere esle or keep your mods as inconspicuous as possible & hope you dont get caught.....On that note, if your car was registered in a more leanant state other the Brax heaven, could you get away with this sort of crap? What about insurance cover... etc?
