Mph who is a huge indicator for telling what sort of power level you are at. Especially for similer car's with power claims. MPH is very important when you start running serious times. I bet all the R33'S with the mod's mentioned in this topic with different HP from dyno's would run very similer MPH, compared to 240hp or 290hp with 50hp difference. 300hp, sure with some good intake temp's and happy dyno's but how long for?. Reality I'm inclined to think not but for a once off to prove your friend wrong smash her on the dyno at 20 pound and let her go haha. On topic today, my friends R34 GT-T did 245rwhp@Xspeed with fmic, fuel pump, ebc, pod ect.

Posting some pictures up might be able to better the feedback. $9,000 is pretty reasonable, as those particular repairs are very cheap to fix. That particular model can be great fun and handle very well. If the motor and drivetrain is mechanically fine and the exterior is good considering the age, then you might have a good buy. Especially if the female owner has been driving in the last couple of years. Supply and demand impacts on the price of skylines, if there is several on the market the median price is going to be reduced, if the market is dry and you have something on offer than noone else does at the time you have alittle more power on your price want. In terms of future repairs, the RB20 is pretty good value with most stuff cheaper than the Krudd's $900 stimulas plan. Remember GOTBOOST, that ran 10.97 with his GTS-4

Seem's normal for the boost, slap it on another dyno and you might jump up on the figures. Also, what sort of tune has he done. If it's a stock 26 which is 15 years old that might have to be considered. What the other dudes mentioned might provide some better insight. If it drives well and feels better you should be sweet.

It's been moved to within the SAUWA members area, so it only can be accessed by SAUWA official members. I couldn't find my own threads either till just before.

If there a Japanese set and you get stuck dude just get in contact with me, I should be able to help

It's going to increase the torque down low and across the bandwidth, use some cam gear's effectively the power should come on earlier (TRUST, HKS or OS GIKEN). Changing coilpack's is a good idea with the age of nissan skylines now, very few set's would be operating to there maximum potential and aftermarket one's are cheap and good value. Building a 3 litre properly without using budget or used part's will not see any change from $5,000 so that sort of cancel's out cheap performance upgrade. In a perfect world stroking her would be sweet and achieve that torque goal. Good luck with the upgrades dude, hopefully you have obtained some good advice.

Green AFM S1 and pink S2 and ignition model will be at rear near firewall in S1 dude.

A Little Bemused About Where To Go From Here...
monga replied to Marco-R34GTT's topic in Western Australia
Paul would be the man to chat to if you are chasing those kind of figures in the RB25DET, he is the one who has been there and done it and figured out what works ect. Plenty of people love the 35R with supporting mod's and make around that 350-400hp number. Having 500hp tend's to break lot's of shit from my experience but it's great fun. -
Moving beyond the limit's of the factory turbo is going to start costing over the $1000 mark and without getting the proper supporting mod's 260hp running the stock turbo at 12 psi will be much better to drive than 300hp upgraded turbo running low boost on the street. I'd suggest getting a fuel pump next as the stock one's are getting old and your power would be reasonably higher than what is offered at stock with the current upgrades.

A Little Bemused About Where To Go From Here...
monga replied to Marco-R34GTT's topic in Western Australia
Marco, what's the purpose of the car and what sort of power are you after?. That could provide a more directed response to help achieve your goals. -
RAC check's are good if you are going to purchase a GETZ. Visit a performance workshop who deal with the cars often and get them to check it over and complete some tests to find out what sort of condition the motor is and other aspects of the car, they have years of experience with Japanese cars.

Cheaper picking up a replacement after the labour & part's involved to remove the box then repairing it. I've got one here if needed dude.

Purchase a pair Garrett 2860-5 for around $2650 then get the actuators, gaskets, bolt's and you are looking at near $3000. HKS GT-SS Kit's complete with everything are $3500. So for $500 extra you get a better quality product which is built for Performance than a generic product that is built for normal cars with have a much higher failure rate. In regards to the HKS/GARRETT turbo post, HKS manufacture and design a turbo then after 2 year's or some small period it can be release to Garrett who can copy it with but it must have some form of change, these are generally tiny 1-2mm. I can't confirm the process with the larger HKS turbo's using Garrett parts, but I think there manufactured then modified to HKS spec. Also HKS turbo's will achieve there rated power, Garrett's generally tend to fail to reach predicted power. All the HKS R25 turbo kit's bolt on and require minor modifications with the dump and the kit's come with the water and oil lines and tap into the factory positions. Garret products don't offer that, so you have to sort that out your self with will be a stab in the wallet. In regards the power debate, dyno's read different every day so 320hp here could be 350hp there and regardless it's pretty much the same power anyway. Also, the GT-RS will function fine at 18psi and for a streeter there awesome. Run some MPH to give you a realistic power figures and without a built motor, this is your solution.

Gtr Twin Plate Clutches
monga replied to SIR-032's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Negative ghostrider, break a box $1,000 to fix. Smash clutch thats $2,000 to fix. I run Exedy Hypertwin, great clutch had it rebuilt about 4 months ago and see's 500hp easy. Had a HKS in the past and did not like it. -

Will R34 Coilovers Fit R33
monga replied to phantom r33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
R34 GT-T & R33 GT-R work. But not R34 GTT & R33 GTST as far as I know. HSD are ok, they are a introduction level coilover which I'm sure are manafactured in Taiwan. -
