  1. *shakes head again* lol
  2. Quite a few private events will just let you in for the sake of it, but be prepared to be told to pay up
  3. *Shakes head* Ryan, why would they let you buy a ticket after you have been caught? That defeats the purpose if eveyone gets caught and says "oops, ill go get one now". Kinda pointless. I believe the part about the miscommunication and shit happens and you got lumped with it. If it were me, i would be asking each of the guys for $10 each to help out lol Pay the fine and move on with life. Not worth contesting. p.s. What is you name? "Poo Head"?????? and you expected them to have a sese of humour about this? LOL you idiot Glad you had a good night though
  4. This car is Andre's. His name on the forums is Leadfoot. Maybe try to contact him direct.
  5. Very nice shots! Thanks for coming out, withstanding the heat and taking the photos. I am sure everyone is very appreciative of your efforts. Hope to see you out at some more events in the future. Cheers Brad
  6. Just to clarify that a touch, you dont get free entry to ALL events at Waneroo raceway with WASCC membership. Private events, such as NO LIMITS for example are not covered as its not a WASCC Event. However, it is still an excellent club at an excellent price if you attend enough events, plus you get the practise days quite cheap.
  7. Hey guys, Just thought i would give out some information on getting yourself a "Competition License" so you can compete in up coming events be it AHG, Wanneroo or a whole bunch of other events. You will need one of 2 licenses. The CAMS License covers basically all events and venues in Perth (some exceptions of course). The the option is the AASA license which covers all events at AHG Driving Centre. To get a CAMS License you need to be a member of a CAMS affiliated Club (SAUWA is not CAMS Affiliated) however there is several Perth clubs that are. All Fours and Rotaries, WASCC or even No Limit Events (Conditions apply with No Limits Events). Cost of the CAMS License is $88 per year, plus you car club membership. This is a very handy license to have if you want to do several forms of events. If you need any further info on this, check out CAMS website: http://www.cams.com.au Option 2 is the very cost effective AASA (Australian Auto Sport Alliance) license. THIS LICENSE IS ONLY USEABLE ON LIMITED EVENTS! This license is useable for all AHG/MC Motorsport events. Weather it be an MC Motorsport Autotest, or Sprint Series, or even a Club event, this license is permitted. The cost of this license is $50 per year. This gives excellent value for the occasional race at AHG. All our SAUWA Timed events will require this license at a minimum! If you need more details about this, check their website: http://www.australianautosportalliance.com I hope this infomation helps you out. SAUWA Is planning timed events for members in the new year so we suggest that you organise your license soon. All events are offered to members only...so if your not a member and want to race your Skyline against other Skylines, sign up now Cheers Brad
  8. Fish farms are the only guarantee! Freo off the rocks is ok, not a guarantee or anything of course.
  9. I think someone needs a hug Car again Daniel?
  10. Dan, proof? Its all 6cyls now i thought.
  11. Ouch! (I would ask for an example but i dont think we need to go there) lol Fair call though....BUT i have never complained about fines/penalties when i have been caught out
  12. So dont break the law and there should be no problem
  13. True and the entrapment issue has been answered. Turns out i was not correct lol Its just becoming a thread to complain how the police lack in doing their jobs, there is no enough of them etc etc.
  14. lol@ this thread. Started by talking about wrx police cars, then to entrapment, then to everyone telling their experience of police enticing people to race on the street, then to violent crimes and the lack of police attendance. Why is this still going? LOL
  15. They are the only one i know of sorry
  16. Fulcrum Suspension is the Authorised Australian Agent for Tein. They are the ones who can repair Teins with genuine Tein parts (seals, valves etc) If you would like to tell me the problem you are having with said shock, i can give you an idea on price to fix it as I work for the WA Agent for Tein
  17. WGMG is people who continually go over the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over again. Cmon Mitchy, time to move on isnt it?
  18. ha ha i would doubt that very much. Such issues as damages, legal liabilty, insurances etc. Also, legally they are not alowed to encourage you to do something then arrest/charge/fine you for it. If they do, charges will be dropped in court and the police in question will be repremanded etc. Also, what data would they have top proove anything? I cant imagine they would spend a day wiring in all there computers, speed loggers etc into an impounded car. I suspect its an urban myth. Just my thoughts.
  19. Ive heard this rumour but never seen it myself. I want pictures!!! NSW trialed WRX about 10 years ago but stopped using them as they kept crashing during pursuit LOL NSW Police deemed them "unsuitable" for the task they were used for.
  20. These guys may be able to help.... http://www.shockreco.com.au I dont know if they are any good as i have never used them, but they rebuild shocks.
  21. New Astra 2 doors look quite good!
  22. Mitsubishi FTO?
  23. WRX? Unmodified and driven normally with the occasional squirt they are pretty reliable.
  24. If you buy secondhand, whats to say they are not in the same condition....or only last 6 months? Buy new, that way you know they will work 100%. I use Split fire and have no problem. Dont know about the just jap ones..but for a $90 difference, i would go with the Splitfires.
