What motor and where are the both located?

Its not referred to as air cooled, its oil cooled, and generally speaking its not the end of the world is you dont hook coolant lines up to you garrett turbo. Lots of TRUST turbos are not water cooled.

Also cats are worth good money for scrap, 30+ for after market and 70ish for a genuine, my mate whos a wrecker makes a killing on it.

I would imagine if you were to put new caps on it would have to be line honed... Is there an oil supply issue?

Are you talking about diff bushes or subframe bushes?

I would say you could change it with out taking the sub frame out, depending on how hard the rear diff ones are to get to which i don't think they would be "too" bad

We tuned the car, then a few days later ran it up again and the AF curve was the same shape, but from say 12.5:1 average to 13.5:1, we were puzzled with what was going on, stuffed around a bit and cleared the computer and went back to normal, so not sure what it was "self learning" or if it can really do that but something was a bit weired. We asked pete about it and he said he never seen it before and few other people said the same, but i don't know how many people bring it back to redyno it to check. Mind you seems to be fine again now?

It is very good once you get your head around it all. He is working on making the ideal fuel target table, so you connect the wide band up to the lap top and it will adust the map to suit your ideal mixture table, just like Autronic etc will do. One thing that we did have slight issue with but haven't really looked into it too far is some type of self learning it has, sometimes you will go back and its alot richer or leaner then it was set to, there is a tab where you can clear all that learnt data (Id have to go back and check exact name was a while ago) then it all returns to normal. We asked pete about it and he wasn't too sure about it.

We tried to get this to work a while ago with pete (he makes the boards) and we couldn't get it to work, there (at least in a S14) is a whole map you can configure so you can actual plot a whole boost curve, mind you we couldn't get it to work, but we were limited by time and he may have it working now.

If the car is a good example of a GTR it could very well be worth buying and fixing it up. Do some reading as the oil pump drive on the crank is a common issue with these motors, and really its not worth just replacing bearings and not fixing some of the other inherent issues. 10K could easily be reached with a decent motor build, but then it would be quite a strong motor after this.

Depending on the size you get a tube nut and a tube sleeve put it on the metal line, then flare the line with a 37 deg flare tool, then it screws onto the normal dash fitting. I can show you some pics if you like. This gets around having to weld to the thin lines.

The earls ones would use a 37 degree single flare.

I just got a quote from a place that sells the NGK R32 rear sensor for 135+gst each, not too bad.

Yes, run the same size rim and tyre front and rear.

Im in the same boat, i have tomei R33 dumps to go on my R32 and one of my O2 sensors doesn't work so i will need to replace them with R33 varients. Im going to try a place i know they are pretty switched on and wholesale oxygen sensors.

Sorry my mistake, that was supposed to be "basic mineral" oil I used the castrol GTX as someone said earlier in the thread.

My motor got 20 min run in on the engine dyno with basic synthetic oil, then map low end then full throttle!

I know R32 GTST and GTR are the same, they should have a book with pictures to try match it up with something else Aussie delivered if possible.
