  1. +1 my car originally had xenons but now H1 globes and the position switch still works I play with my position switch when I'm bored at the lights, gets other people's attention next to me as well lol Prolly gonna go bust on me down the track so I leave it now
  2. I used Metalcast Red for my calipers, cost me around $9 from memory for the can and a lazy sunday afternoon I already had brake caliper cleaner in my garage, and I used aluminium caliper paint as a primer. Did this also on my previous R33 and after a clean they come up looking brand new again 3 coats of primer, I originally tried 2 coats of paint, but it was too bright for my liking, you'll get this deeper kind of red from 4 coats
  3. I love the power delivery and throttle response from my z... but nothing compares to the rush when the skyline's on boost . Most n/a 4 banger posers add a cannon and leave it at that. I would do; 2.5" exhaust good size extractors (not too large) hi flow panel filter adjustable cams decent Air/Fuel management
  4. well, I've currently got an 06 Ti X-trail gear knob in my r34, not an exact fit, I have to leave it a tiny bit loose (1/4 of a turn) as if it's threaded all the way on the gear knob sits sideways. but same thread size
  5. nah it's kewl, that first pic was enough thanks again
  6. My first car was an n/a r33. not the fastest thing around but it sure did get attention both good and bad. Personally, I'd look at how long you plan on keeping the car, if you're gonna change it in say 3-4 years time for a turbo model when you're off your P's anyway then I wouldn't go too crazy on the first car. I learnt the hard way that imports have sh#t resale, if you go the import route it has to be for the long term to get your money's worth imo
  7. The v35 will always be a maxima with the rear doors welded shut to me... but I like your one, the wheels set it off. I saw a v35 with eyelids to make it look like v36 headlights, and I was very tempted... but I'm hangin out for the v36 lol
  8. I see... at first glance I thought... here we go another honda/mitsu driver who did a nissan conversion abomination... but no it appears Nissan did that one all on their own... :laughing-smiley-014:
  9. I feel like posting you a pat on the back , same colour as my Z Thanks for keeping my motivation up to get these wheels, as I really should be saving up for other things lol. anymore pics?
  10. +1 my R34 already had a hks pod, I did exhaust, then intercooler first. If anything the turbo boosted harder due to the exhaust and the i/c kept temps low and overall drivability was better. Then I did Boost controller and Power FC and nismo fuel pump. As this is in the cosmetic section, The first thing I'd do looks wise is a good set of 18" rims with decent tyre and offset. Then a bodykit to flow with the overall look of the car
  11. Mine has one from factory option, only way to have it IMO. And importer yards will tell you anything is "rare," one bloke told me it was rare to have a series 2 r34 in manual etc. i.e it's "rare" to see a skyline with the original km's on the speedo
  12. With my r34 I drop it from 2-3 inches and it clicks easily. With the Z the bonnet is super light so I drop it with a bit of force, but not too much.
  13. Spotted a convertible S15 today! was on the m4, saw a white car with silvia taillights but an unusual silhouette, as I got closer I realised it was a convertible. Looked kinda stupid, the shape was all funny
  14. Mardi Gras called... they want their main float back. What makes a skyline ugly? 90% of the time it's the person in the driver seat
  15. I'm saving up for a set for my Z! the house can wait for now I guess
  16. 1. Never an option for australian market 2. maybe ebay, but you'd have to retrofit one into the centre pocket and who knows what that would involve? 3. depends what you buy, tomtom just plugs into a 12v socket for ex. 4. Being aussie delivered you can easily find specs so not much chance for nasty surprises unlike imports 5.... 350z all the way! Good luck mate
  17. Man, he's *cough* King Cordia, why would he wanna be a lowly president, when he's already royalty? Someone who puts that much time and effort into dissing a specific car type and then fails to show the goods? W A N K E R what's wrong kingcordia? had your ass handed to you multiple times at the traffic lights? Harden the F*ck up, don't post useless cr@p on youtube, there's enough of it already
  18. Yo-Yo

    Gtr Vs. Nsx

It was designed from the outset to be an internationally sold car, that includes one of their largest markets the good 'ol USofA(ssholes) (I can say that, I used to live there) I think Nissan decided to make *some* provisions for people who aren't japanese. They can only gripe about it's size and looks because it will absolutely demolish their lesser cars. BTW: The new STi looks like ass
  19. Try searching for R31 house, Eastbear Japanese companies, pretty expensive to source i'd imagine, Powerplayimports in sydney could probably source it for you Or try www.Justjap.com, they have a kit for r31's from memory, but not sure if sedan compatible
  20. Niice, it's almost as fat as an R33 now Which is a good thing as I love the look of the R33 GTR the most out of the 3 skyline GTRs
  21. Flush fit bootlid looks a bit funny, much better to get the D-wing, then add that gt wing if you want
  22. V36 Skyline coupe for me, m35/m36 stagea to run a family around in?
  23. I like how emos "non-conform" by wearing the same type of clothes and listen to the same type of music and cut themselves the same pissweak way... whingeing sods, kick 'em out of their parent's houses and give 'em something to REALLY whinge about. Back on topic, "dinnerplates" definitely seem to be an acquired taste
  24. With the right kit and lowered on it's ass you could pull it off, as it is it doesn't seem complete. Don't listen to the haters, it's your car do what you want with it, not a fan of that style myself personally, but if everyone followed the same style things would be very boring indeed
  25. Welcome to the forums, I like V8's, but I love Forced Induction! If you really wanna stir the pot then put your HSVBRO plates on your new car good luck wit your purchase
