  1. OMG mad082 called me a cockhead!!! Life over...
  2. Guys please dont take the 140km/h thing out of context. Marks point is lets put more emphasis into driver training, road quality and newer cars. Then once these have taken effect, lets look at increasing the speed limit on certain roads. Please dont fall into the "140km/h" headlines the media are trying to feed you.
  3. Was that shudder always there under power or just on the edge of traction? If you just spin the tyres hard did it still shudder? Mine wont shudder/axle tramp when i completely overcome traction.
  4. Mark Skaife for Roads Minister!
  5. But it should work on the aluminium dish of my rims as long as I dont get it anywhere else? I will just try a very small part of the dish with a toothbrush to start off with.
  6. Ah ok yup thats the next step if I cant do it pretty easily myself. After some google searching I found two products, ALUPLUS and ALUBRITE. It is an acid that is supposed to clean aluminium and then polish it really well. Think I will try that and then resort to a rim repair shop if it doesnt work.
  7. Strange that subaru stuff is meant for the inside of an engine haha. I will give it a shot though. Wet and dry paper sounds pretty full on.
  8. Interesting thing to note is that if I spin the wheels out of a corner it doesnt seem to axle tramp, just nice smooth wheelspin. It only seems to happen in a straight line. Does that point to anything? My thinking is that the suspension only gets loaded side to side instead of front to back when it squats. So my side to side suspension must be ok but not my front to back. Hmmm diff bushes are front to back...
  9. I have also heard good things about glassylite. I ordered a kit off ebay yesterday: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/GLASSYLITE-HEADLIGH...=item2a07c0befb
  10. Just reading here: http://www.englishcustompolishing.com/usca/aluminum1.html They reckon to use wet and dry paper. Anyone done this?
  11. Yeah I tried that but couldnt budge it. Maybe I should try harder??
  12. Hi Guys, I am trying to clean up my wheels. The middle part of the wheel cleans up nice with some wheel cleaner. However the dish remains stained. I have tried different wheel cleaners but it seems to be within the metal now. I also tried quickly some metal polish but no luck either. Any ideas? Here is a pic, needs to be closer but you get the idea.
  13. Hey Guys, Sorry for the basic question, I did a search and everyone assumes they know where the horn is. When I press my horn it makes a really strange dull noise. Therefore, I would like to replace the horn as it seems like its getting power etc. Where do I find the horn on my R34 GT-T?
  14. I just used some pliers as well. Bit slow but got there. You guys are all weak, its not that hard to get down there...
  15. Yes it is way too low. 300hp from a HKS 2835 Pro S and wont take any more boost than 16psi. Something is definitely wrong. I am guessing its not a fuel issue because your tuner would surely have mentioned if that was it. Now just need to try and rule out different issues one by one. Sounds like something to do with spark, whether it be coil packs, leads or plugs. Maybe heat i suppose.
  16. My understanding is they are the same as well. Its only the R34 GTT's that have the different lower joint on the rear suspension. Jump under your car and have a quick look to confirm. Then go back and laugh at the wrecker...
  17. I made 190rwkw with stock dump pipe so its not 'needed' but always a good thing. Depends if you can be bothered installing the b*stard! Front pipe is nice and easy.
  18. Found another one with more info: http://www.trapster.com/
  19. No point reinventing the wheel: http://www.roadwatch.com.au/speedcameras.asp Help keep this database up to date. If you see one that isnt on there, send them an email. I have suggested 3 that have been put up there. Much handier having a map too.
  20. Make sure you get a tune asap to get the most out of it.
  21. Thanks for the info. Diff bushes are definitely next on my list. I think I have done everything else.
  22. Are you able to expand on this? I am very interested.
  23. They do the same thing the cradle lockers do, they just stiffen up the subframe movement to a lesser extent. Saves pulling the subframe off and more inclined for a street car that NVH is important on. I dont understand why people suggest putting pineapples in the squat position when the ultimate is to solid mount the subframe which does not alter the diff pinion angle anyway??
  24. Sorry I wasnt saying pineapples are the best thing to do, just saying that the pineapples dont have to lower the subframe. It depends how you install them.
  25. Nistune FTW, will fix all these issues. I would get a tune instead of a fmic if the money is tight. Exhaust, boost upgrade and tune, and only if you can also afford an fmic get one too.
