  1. Stage 1 sounds good. I dont think a fuel pump is necessary yet, although it wont hurt. My stock one was fine. Stage 2 you will also need a Z32 AFM.
  2. Picked up my car today with all new nismo diff bushes and AXLE TRAMP IS COMPLETELY GONE NOW!!! WOOHOO!!! Transitions from quick takeoff to wheelspin really smoothly and does not axle tramp at all. So in summary diff bushes have to be high on the list, with pineapples or full subframe bushes as the top two contenders IMO. Start with those two things first and then see how you go after that. Thanks for all the help I have received in this thread, hopefully it helps a lot of people in the future!
  3. You are clearly a much better driver than the owner of the R33 GTR though! Still impressive nonetheless.
  4. Running e85 on an e70 tune you have the opposite scenario, car will run 1 AFR point leaner but will have a higher octane. I am beginning to think whichever way you do it wont make much of a difference.
  5. As long as the E85 tune is not tuned right to the edge, I believe so yes. Although I would prefer to see some real world results instead of my logic before doing it
  6. Its interesting 15% less ethanol so the octane drops a bit (not sure how much) but then the extra 15% of unleaded fuel would make the car run richer quite possibly negating the drop in octane.
  7. Agree with the nistune and 10psi. I also have a turnflow intercooler (no holes). This made 190rwkw and is a huge improvement over standard. I was beating or equal with a mates mostly standard 33 GTR running 14psi. However, I disagree with just fitting a heavier rear sway bar. I bought both and fitted just the rear initially, the car felt like it handled well but once you got into a corner it oversteered something shocking! Once I fitted the heavier front sway bar as well did the car gain back its balance. I am stuck here as the car is fantastic. Sure I would love more power, keep looking at 3076 kits but I know its going to be at least 5-6k until the car is going again and I am really enjoying how reliable the car is at the moment. Instead I am going to start joining in the SAU track days and use what I have.
  8. This was my first one, turnout was great lots of awesome cars. But yeah the route sucked a fair bit. Dont like chap laps. Was still fun though. Different route next time and it would be unreal.
  9. Hey guys, thinking about coming along for a drive. This will be my first one!
  10. Yeah but its $500 without fitting. Not everyone can justify that.
  11. Thanks Rob, I just purchased some nismo diff bushes (all 4) and will get them fitted hopefully next week. I think that is the last standard set of bushes remaining in the rear.
  12. I dont think you will get much more than 250rwkw out of a GTRS on a stock RB25. But it should have really good response. If the stock bov was the issue you would have issues with high amounts of air not with response.
  13. My assumption is because the wastegate could not control boost properly they were being conservative until that is sorted.
  14. I bought the adjustable whiteline swaybars and really use the adjustability of them. You can gradually fine tune the car to how you like it. Then you can be silly and make it oversteer like a whore if you like to drift on private tracks! Im very happy with them but havent tried any other ones so cant compare.
  15. +1 I bought some from heasmans only a few months ago, he had them in stock and sent them straight down. Didnt sound like it was the last set or anything.
  16. My axle tramp would occur with just power no hard changing gears with tyres pumped up and not stiff suspension. Its not that easy. But there is tonnes of info in that thread i linked above.
  17. The title of the thread and description are very helpful
  18. Whats wrong with your other thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ty...p;hl=axle+tramp In that thread we suggested you read this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ax...p;hl=axle+tramp There is heaps of info in that second link. I am yet to completely eliminate mine but have reduced it a lot. From my experience it is worn suspension bushes that cause this issue, so when axle tramp occurs you are further wearing down these bushes. Not mention the extra strain on axles and diffs.
  19. Exactly right, overtaking without going over 100 is just plain dangerous. The other car would have to be doing <80km/h for it to be safe.
  20. Put on the 1.06 you already have, see how you like it and go from there.
  21. how long was the kit used for? any shaft play on the turbo? was it fitted by a performance place? where are you located?
  22. Have a read of the Hypergear thread in this section, its a big thread but lots of useful info.
  23. Take it straight down to your performance place.
  24. Coming out which side of the turbo housing? manifold side or dump pipe side?
  25. Yeah you would, they only run 14 second 1/4 miles. An R33 with 200rwkw will run low to mid 13s all day long.
