    hey all sorry bout not gettin back to you on the tyres paul; its a mate of mine from work and i cant get hold of him... will let ya know asap good news is i found my water leak and am off to the hose shop tomorrow to get a new coolant hose, should be terrorising the streets again tomrrow night!

    a gy down the road from me owns one of the aussie delivered GTRs you can tell bcos of the rear lights (i think) the indicator is built in to the round light and not an individual light

    its not overboost cos the gain is set too high is it? that one has fuzzy logic tho doesnt it... i also read that a leak or crack in any of the vacuum lines would cause boost creep

    careful with big injectors and std ECU. a mate of mine but rx7 injectors into his RB20 and they sprayed so much fuel it coated the bores and the bottom end needed rebuilding

    a belt would squeal all the time, not only on full boost...

    duno yet, want to travel at the end of the year though. and the car is too much of a financial burden so ill decide when i get back... probably not something perforamnce, ive almost had enough... a 4WD maybe? have to wait n see

    well that puts my mind at ease... hopefully the R32s will hold value cos im lookin to sell mine within 6months

    you dont need to rebuild the turbo neccessarily. its simply out of balance, whether this has caused damage or not is another issue

    balancing happened to me get it VPS balanced at your local turbo shop

    and so you would have to assume its now worth less... as cheaper cars come onto the market they will drive down the prices of the more expensive cars

    its still nice to know that were not throwing money down the toilet just by owning a skyline.... this 15 year rule sucks!

    yeh dont remove the heat shield just polish it up use wet n dry sandpaper progressively down to a 600 or so. then use autosol or a buffer if uve got one

    ah right last time i was there (couple of months ago) they did. u ask if theyre getting them in? everyone is entitled to their opinion, there are certain workshops i hate as well. so far cypher is not one of them tho

    yeh $50 gets you 2 visits try east perth, theyre alot easier to pass at compared to welshpool (personal experience)
