  1. YOUR JOKING U went and didnt tell me... OMG and Karen really went throught with it... OMG... I bet Marc and Karen had weird stripper s3x last night...
  2. Standard Clutch and 200rwkw = Fryed clutch and a 24 second pass at 50mph... Exedy Custom and 240rwkw = 12.4@111mph (street tyres) Yeah i actually burnt my clutch during the burnout (2nd gear burnout). When i left the line the car went no where and the revs went through the roof. I ended up droping it into 2nd and crawling away and i go up to about 80kph i think as my top speed on that run...
  3. In the intrest of keeping on topic you should pm me in future Byrn... PM sent..
  4. Arhhhhh Franky... Wow i did see a part of your car, all i noticed was a blue coloured r33 (all i could see was the side of the front headlight, was hard to se at night also) The guy in the lancer was trying to get me to race him so i didnt look sideways much as i didnt want to egg him on. At the next set of lights he put the hammer down... Unfortunatlly his 40fwkw was not quite enough for my 1/4 pedal accleration... He was reving its ringer out and still he was beside me... I was laughing and he was less then impressed when i put the hammer down... Im not one to race on the streets but i did kinda step on it just to sh1t on his 18 year old ego... (At no stage did i break any speed limits tho)... And Yes i have HID's now... I wanted to do something not many have done, i have had them in for about a week now and i have had so many people ask about them, they look awsome.
  5. hicas is 4 wheel steer... Well not really 4 wheel steer just more like the rear wheels moving slightlly a couple of degres to help through corners... There are 2 types of hicas, there is the one where the whole rear suspension moves like found in the HR31's and then there are ones with an actually second steering rack just for the rear wheels like in the 32,33,34... Personally i dont like hicas...
  6. If you want full control then remove hicas... If you want some help then leave it in... I used to race go karts and hicas just messed with my driving style so i removed it quick smart... Im just used to not having it so it was an easy decision for me... Also it does scuff your tyres on the inside edge on the rear faster then with out hicas...
  7. You can but you would need to run a SAFC or a PFC to control the new output values... If you dont want to spend 1000 on a pfc and 500 on a good tune then i suggest just buying another series 2 afm...
  8. What a faaaaag... I lasted 3 minutes... I thought it was going to go somewhere but then it didnt...
  9. Spotted a White R32 GTS-T parked on the footpath on Church rd about 15 minutes ago... Car also had no front number plate... Also spotted a R32 and R34 4 door today down a eagle farm out the front of exedy's brisbane depot...
  10. Thats a great increase... Good to see the results on paper too...
  11. 15th is bowling night and i expect you all to be there... Maby we can shoot and bowl... Yeah awsome idea... Top roof of chermisde shopping centre near the construction site would be good for a shoot...
  12. There are other ways to hide the damage... There are many photographic techniques that can be used, i used it when taking photos of rhinorebals car as his paint is a little worn. But from the photos i took you would never know it was any less than perfect. I agree... Photoshop is for chopping fun. I just take the photo perfect first time... I think that the challange is in the shooting...
  13. Ill tell Nay thats its a club meeting and not dinner at a stip joint... Then im there...
  14. Keep us up to date ith your travel plans as we have some big events in November..
  15. Gavin is your man on the coast... I can second that... Great workshop with everything on hand to just check over a car right the way through to a full custom setup... They do for street to wild and back again... If you cannot find it there you will not find it anywhere...
  16. There are many on the forums who go to Richard for his attention to detail and great customer service... We held our official SAU QLD dyno night there in May and id have to say they were very pleased with our club and were very professional... I would recomend them as being honest and good clean mechanics.

    Brakepads

I found these to be quite expensive for the performance they provided... I will not use these again personally as they dont offer very good value for money... Had these on at the last track day and after 5 laps i had no brakes left... I have just ordered a set of DBA slotted rotors for all four corners and i have purchased a set of these to go with the slotted rotors... The bloke who set up our brakes for targa tas swears by them for street/track use and id have to say they were impressive in our targa car...
  18. Thought about this topic quite a bit the other night... I thought most has been said, but i just wanted to add that I personally take lunch... Most important to take lunch... There is no food at QLD raceway and you need to come with the esky and some sandwich's... With out lunch you cannot have a good day... This is a serious post as i have been to a trackday with no food before...
  19. Your right i do believe a couple of group shots would be nice... I was thinking that Anna and Andy would like a couple shot... I also have a few other ideas and will hold an open discussion about it here...
  20. Never too late... We would love a V35... Ummmmm
  21. Karen it all depends on what the members vote for us to wear...... As for those who are in the list ill be contacting you all shortlly... I will be in Sydney for a week or two with my new job with (CANON AUSTRALIA) and upon retuning i will have about a million bucks worth of cameras and lens with me so im thinking for results ill be borrowing some expensive lens's... So wait up for a week or two for updates as to when and where... My camera equiptment that i own is only worth like 5 grand... I can "now" borrow lens's worth the same money as an R34 GTR...
  22. Andy its not the car we are photographing... You let me know if you want the 33 in as well as the 32, i reckon maby a his and her page. As in both of your cars together...?
