What about some drag slicks for stock rims??? Anyone...? Im thinking of using semi slicks as my daily driven tyres (9.5" rears and 8.5" fronts) Then putting some slicks on my stock pair for the drags. Cause i just cannot launch the skyline. It over powers or underpowers. No slip in the clutch does not help... I want a 11 second pass damn it...

Michael most auto barns are not too bad... You need to undertsand their franchised and have huge over heads. The back yeard jobbies are the ones who make it had to make a buck and set their prices at unsustainable prices. $20-25 a fitting for rocket industries speed flow fittings is the going rate, no ones cheaper or dearer everyone seems to be the same.

All the bends were $20 each... The hose it self was $30 a metre for the 10mm stuff... The fittings for the turbo BB cartridge were $110 for all 4 (damn gcg fittings, bloody expensive) EDIT: I have not technically paid for the speedflow fittings and the braided line yet... So i guess they cost me nothing...

I orded all my speed flow fittings from autobarn...

Lucky your in one piece tho man, a guy was stabbed to death last saturday night for his wallet in breakfast creek. A mate of mine (who is a tiler) had to work on a few railway stations at night for obvious reasons. Replacing that little yellow line on the edge of the platform with a row of yellow tiles. They had 4 rail security guards to stay with them at all times while working due to the drunks and the gangs who seem to love QLD rail.

Rob the best thing you can do is keep an eye on the events section and come to as many events as possible... The forums are great for chillin out and getting all important info on skylines and all things Nissan and motorsport related. But its the events were you will meet new people and have heaps of fun.

Shane when i looked at roll cages i was told to be QLD roadworthy it needs to have at least one cross bar... They also said that i would have to remove the rear seat and seat belts if i didnt want trouble with the Police... With a crossbar you cannot have rear passangers...

By all means this is the right spot... As for the cruise, i believe that Power cruise is the biggest cruise in QLD to date... I have not been on one personally due to my work commitments but would love to attend one day...
