  1. yeah 10km's of straight road (under closed race conditions) should be enough to blow your motor.....
  2. pic of valve please to colinpaulbaker@hotmail.com
  3. Anyone with R31 looking for new tyres they will cost you $350 for a set of cheapies so think of it as a new set of tyres and a nice set of rims for $50.... Also forgot to mention these come with a set of lock nuts and polished wheel nuts.... NOTE: Still have original invoice for $1200 in 2000..... Not including tyres...
  4. I got done today actually... I went to bunnings as they said they could cut it... I get there they dont have any blanks that will fit... Anyways i go to Nissan to buy a blank,,, The guys says the same as a maxmia. I buy it get back toi bunnings and they cut it for free because of the confusion on the phone. Anyway the key is cut. I put it in the ignigtion. Guess what the key does not fit... I get back to nissan they say i should have checked it first and that no refund was possible. I took his work for it and got screwed again.... Im currentlly placing bids on ebay to get a key....
  5. I am tho really.... Just dont show it on the out side.... Im a man posting in a forum... Where manlyness is measured by the size of your... intercooler!!! "Whats that hunny" oh got to go... I have to wash the dishes....
  6. I tried nissan and they said it the same as a maxmia... got the key and got it cut... Didnt think of trying it in the ignition first cause i believed them... Anyway got it cut and gues what. Didnt fit... That key has been cut (NO REFUND)... Yet again i get screwed...
  7. Thanks Erin.... Will enjoy.... My partner doesnt even know she is going yet... It will be a supprise... "Why are you taking a camera to dinner out".... Ill be like its a suprise.... Get to mackers for a feed before the motor show... Then crack the news.....LOL
  8. Opps.... Wrong topic.... Col takes the pi$$.... :headspin:
  9. Install a flux capacitor and you only need 87mph to travel through time....
  10. I think their 6.5" or 7" wide... They currentlly have 205/65/15's on them.... Used to have 225 on the rear of the car....
  11. Maby a rocket scientist is needed..... LOL
  12. Yeah putting a manual box in a standard auot is a good thing... I did it in my old GTSX.... The diff ration is taller and makes for a faster acc but lower top speed... But top speed is not important at QLD raceway nor on the strip as you will never reach red line top gear..... So yes this is a great idea....
  13. I dont know where youd get that info other than nissan japan... I have only ever seen one myself and i was confussed... I spoke to the guys in our auto devision and they had never seen one nor did they have any tech info on this box....
  14. Good call INASNT.... As above posted that these results should be tried on a racetrack or dyno..... And yeah how did you measure it.... I bet he says with a 320kph nismo dash... LOL
  15. its not important who offered it... but you would be ripping of the forums and I.... I replied with a take ya $20 to Big W and buy a hugh rubber band... cause that what $20 will get ya....
  16. I have searched high and low.... I need a wiring diagram as my a/c thermo fan is not spinning. I know its either a bum relay or fuse. But which one is the question??? But with out this fan working the ac does not get cold enough.... So i need to trace the fault so a diagram would be nice. Thanks
  17. Asking a mod to move this topic to DIY/FAQ's please....
  18. 4 days to go.... first in first served....
  19. Not sold yet... 2 pm's Come on guys try and buy one for $100.... Please dont insult me with a $20 offer.... Just just a joke...
  20. I saw a five speed in a non turbo rb20de R33.... 4 door..... I thought it was very strange as the dash in the 33 has the gear selection lights it had 1-4 then drive... a normal auto r33 had 1-3 then drive...
  21. Although wind drag and friction are a little different on a dyno so id say take the results with a gain on salt... But it would give you a pretty rough idea....
  22. Use a dyno.... Its a very very safe way to check out a top speed.....
  23. Probablly not $600 is the rrp of that valve in a shop....
  24. Ummmm what about a Mazda 6 in a 3 litre twin tubro.... what about that NS2500???
  25. SP23 is a nice car in standard trim..... The pulsar lacks interia design..... The jazz is too slow..... The sub will be the most expensive to service, however it will have a very good re-sale value.... My vote is for the Mazda.... Go and test drive them all and ask the sales person to point out the costs in running and maintaining each car and servicing costs... Once you have driven them all... Weight up the costs in between the 2 you liked to drive the most.... Still i have driven most of the cars listed above at work... Id go the Mazda....
