  1. Well the price of the bottle depends on weather its full or not.... LOL
  2. Im also interested in new injectors.... Should one just go for 660cc for future upgrades????
  3. I have a standard r32 Bov $30... + $7 for post Get the pipe from Chef_32 and the bov from me and your set....
  4. I am interested in the turbo... specs needed tho... Like trim, flange type and so on....

  6. OK new head now....
  7. strutto whats that page again???? So i can get another head...
  8. Like my new head???
  9. The car was one of those 50kw at the fly.... crap-a-chino I could just get my knees under the steering wheel.... Didnt help that my hips and lower back at rooted after a little jet ski accident yesterday...
  10. Just got home from motor show... I think i ound my next car....
  11. Make sure you lube the item up and tape it too the coat hanger so you can pull hard... (I can see that above line looks really sus...) But yeah if you dont lube it you will tare the rubber or the item taped on the end will fall off...
  12. I cut a small hole beside the main loom in the rubber.. As the hole in the fire wall is over 2 inches big... You will have to submerge it in water to get it to leek.... And if you did that, you have a lot more to worry about before you would notice or care for the little ruber grommet.. LOL
  13. Dont race... and if you do.... dont post it..... As previously stated many times before.... Question "Why are you running a $70 part in a $15,000+ car"???? Do it properlly, buy an elecronic boost controller and fuel cut defender..... Also i hope you have an exhaust and front mount... 11psi is the absolute max you should run on a stock setup...
  14. Put a fan on it ASAP... You have a masive intercooler blocking alot of flow to the radiaor as well.... My old RB20 was bad for over heating so i went and got a custom one made at "ARE" and he also supplied a craig davis thermo fan and controler... After these were installed i never had a problem again.... The front mount was the cause of my over heating problem and mine was only 77mm thick... So put a fan on of some sort.... Check your thermostat..... Check your water pump for clicking (touch it with a flat blade screwdriver and put your ear to the other end)... If you hear clicking you need a new one.... This is common also.. The bearings wear out and the blades touch the other housing a bit... This reduces flow heaps.. Also did you bleed the air from the system when filing the radiator??? With air in the system this will cause the water to reach a super hot temp...
  15. One of my head lights is brand new... Which makes the other one look $hit, so i used gold class (as per usual) and it worked a treat... However you know when you look at the cloth after polishing off I was left with green as the colour on the cloth.... I thought thats weird.... Any thoughts???
  16. In QLD... neons inside or outside the car will cost you a $150 fine and one point... I think the cops call the fine "being a wanker".... Nah seriouslly, people with neons up here get laughed at.... Mainlly because there only found on excel's...... I did have 4x6 inch neons in one of my cars. In the front up under the dash and 2 under the front seats... To light up the foot wells... All you need to do is run a parralell circuit off switches or off a door circuit as i did... Remember its non-legal ligting and will cost you a fine if you are seen with them on...
  17. Pop your bonnet... Look at the turbo.. Now lok directlly behind it at the firewall. You will see two silver pipes going threw the firewall. Just below that you will see a wiring harness about an inch think coming threw a big ruber grommet. Now pass a broken coat hanger threw the rubber grommet. Find it on the inside and then tape the pipe on the other end of the coat hanger. Then lube it up a bit with some dish washing liquid. Now pull the coat hanger all the way threw. Now you have what you want threw the firewall.... You need to use the coat hanger cause you cannot see the ruber gromet from the inside. You need to rely on feeling with you hands in behind the ac evaperator... Cheers
  18. Thtas right... you want to hook up to cyl 1 wire...
  19. I think il pas the group buy over to newkon.... He should be able to orginize a few dozen at a good rate.... PM him Newkon... Maby you should begin a group buy for these guys in the group buy section...
  20. The only reason a S2 should score higher is due to a younger motor... Very slight differences in the internals as well.... But the difference is very arguable..
  21. Ok fair point... I will not proceed with group buy on this product as i have mine already anyway... I would have said its my post so i can do as i please in terms of posting pricing... I will say that this is a tech thread and i didnt want it to turn into a pricing type thread. So i retract my above post and ask a mod to move tis thread to the FAQ/Tut's area for future reading by those who want a SBC or AVCR.. Thank you too all who found my reading interesting... I will choose to share info more carefully in the future.... Note: I have purchased from NEWKON before and recomend him to everyone... (no hard feelings here)
  22. I understand you are a SAU trader (newkon.biz) but you were warned about posting pricing above... This is not a for sale section this is a technical thread discussing the pro's and con's... If someone asks a question we can answer it.... Coupe-this = Have found a supplier for a possible group buy (give me a week or so, discussing units delivered prices, with Australian warranty round the 600 mark...)
  23. No power gained other thanmaby a bit younger motor (ie. better compression) but other than that their equal motors... You'd touck over 150rwkw... about 160 maby....
  24. The day it waz sold... Thats lucky....
  25. The RB series has been proven to bea very strong motor... Its the heart of all skylines right back from the 31.... It has proven itself on the track/drags/rally and street use.... The life span is very hard to determine. As left standard and driven every day for an hour a day it should last longer than the panels (rust will take over before engine dies)... If boosted or NOS'ed, Drifted and draged every where then it aint gonna last that long.... Would you say a Big Block Chev is strong.... I would.... Then how come Top fuel dragsters re-build after every run.... Its cause their pushed.... That same motor reving at 2000rpm all day everyday would run for ever..... It comes down to the build quality and treatment.... My 2c
