We did the shift. I spent god-knows-how-many years driving GTR's, Gtst's a 180 and also had a Stag. I now drive my Bora during the week and the family work horse is a Passat. So, I think the main thing is that our circumstances changed. I started commuting more and had far less time to enjoy my cars (my last GTR sat unregistered in our garage for 3 months before I realised it had lapsed.) I could commute in a GTR, sure, but it wouldn't be pleasant and the fuel consumption would be a killer (Bora gets 500 from a tank in traffic, Passat is diesel and gets 800-900 in the city.) We're a single wage family atm while my wife finishes uni, so can't afford to spend additional funds on petrol. The Bora is a v6 4Motion which means its still a little bit of fun and very chuckable. So I can still sneak in a McCarrs Creek Road run every now any then. So, ultimately, the 'driver' in me can still have a little bit of fun and the 'single wage earner & father' in me has some practicality also. I'm looking forward to getting back in a GTR at some stage, but now isn't the time.

Can you clear all caches and cookies for sau.com.au in Firefox? I reckon that'll sort it.

Which sub forums is the problem occurring on? I was having this exact issue earlier but the forums index showed me as logged out but all others were fine. Can you confirm that other browsers work OK?

Broke the back of a few of the bastard issues today, hopefully things start behaving as normal again.

So, just today I found a massive problem with the way a lot of the site was cached. It mainly affected the homepage and forums index but there were other pages affected also. So, to fix, you just need to clear your cookies and cache for this site and log in again. Please report back your progress.

Ok, so ... auto scaling is stupid and should be killed. I've ditched our auto scaling and instead just have one big ass server for the web stuff. Fingers crossed it does what we need it to. If anybody knows their way around servers I'd love some help with this crap. Simon, let me know if its still a problem?

Ok, so, I think the logged in as somebody else problem is fixed. Can anybody confirm? The other non-updated 'my content' is likely an index problem and will be fixed momentarily.
