  1. Hang on, how are we supposed to get your work to lift a block on this site? I dont get it... Oh, you could try browsing through proxies..
  2. Hey Mic, thats not going to happen, its cool. I personally travel around a lot and before I got a laptop I could only use free email accounts to check mail, so I know what its like. Christian
  3. RB30-POWER - takes 24hrs to index, so its not 'real time' like the VB site search. fastRgal - I am writing up a wiki for the site use with instructions, tips etc, should be very useful once its done.
  4. Awesome guys, I am trying to keep up with the ideas. Heres a quick update; Google search has been implemented to run alongside the standard search so people can pick and choose which one they would like. (click 'Search' up the top) Help Desk has been implemented, I will not be listing the support email address on the forums, all support with have to go through the Help Desk (I cannot tell you how many emails I used to get). I will be building a new profile system for members which will include a blog and random images from users' members' galleries and also a bunch of other stuff. So that the 'profile' can actually be info about the user. I am sorry if I have not responded to everybody, I am still going through. Christian
  5. That looks like a fake to me, can you guarentee its genuinity?

  7. Hey mate, just to confirm that its R33 Gtst Calipers & Rotors for front and rear? if so, can you do any better price than $750?
  8. i'll take the GTR swaybar, any idea how to get it to sydney?
  9. Current search takes up a fair whack of resources, but Google search uses its engine and so will be much less intensive to use. Guys, check http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...026#post1291026 Christian
  10. Hey guys, just a quick clear up - the changes being made will be for functionality and practicality, so no theme/style changes and if we do decide to change the style, it will be made as a seperate style so you guys can choose between them. Great comments tho guys, keep them coming!
  11. This is a thread containing information relating to changes and updates currently being performed on SAU. ********************************************************** Title: SAU Helpdesk Status: Complete Description: This is an email based helpdesk for all emails sent to the '[email protected]' email address to help us keep track of the hundreds of emails we get weekly Estimated date of completion: 24/04/05 ********************************************************** Title: Google Search Status: Complete Description: This is just a google search for the site to make searching faster, easier and more inclusive. Estimated date of completion: 10/04/05 ********************************************************** To recommend a feature, please click here
  12. In the past many features have been added to the site to assist in either the general usage or to give fun areas to 'play in' or to help in aiding the organisation of the massive wealth of knowledge that we have on these forums. I have started looking into many changes to occur over the next few months, some massive, some quite inconsequential. But, what I need is to get feedback from you all as to what features or changes you would like to see. You may think that your ideas are non feasible or plain right silly, but its usually such ideas that make a website just that little bit better. Please list any ideas you have for the site. Shortly I will create a 'Worksheet' thread that will contain projects that are being assesed, implemented or completed. I will also ask on any php developers to leave their mark in this forum if they wish to assist in this SAU overhaul. Thanks all and I also thank you for helping make this site what it is today. Christian
  13. hmmm ok, thanks guys - will look into it.

  15. I asked for people to come forward to post Skyline Articles up and a few people dide, but they never seemed to keen... so atm we only have a Stagea section in the articles. Christian
  16. Steve, Good stuff man. The westnet ban we have is for new registrations, so existing users will be fine. Christian

  20. Ok guys, I have decided to do the conversion, I just cant stand driving the auto anymore (I have been using our Mirage every opurtunity i get because its manual). Now, the trickiest thing that I can think of is moving the handbrake up to its normal position so it doesnt get in the way of the clutch (wouldnt that be fun!). R32/3 GTR/GTS4 gearbox (because of 4WD? or can I use the Gtst one?) Pedal Set (Any car really eh?) Clutch master cylinder and all brackets etc Clutch (bleugh) 260RS centre console trim and handbrake lever (otherwise I will just hack mine up i guess) What else is there? So looking forward to doing this... Christian!
