I joined over the phone with RACQ when i was on the side of raod. It cost me $153 for two years road side service and free tows or the other option was to get it towed for $120. So i took the $153 two year option. So the road side service guy comes out and says or not this sushi crap, refering to my car,he didnt have a f*#ken clue what a MSD or microtech ecu was, he was saying you have power in your battery it should start, which was obvious as i had headlights, but no ignition. So he calls a tow truck the tow truck turns up he says the cars to low and that he needs a special tow truck and that will cost me an extra $88 im like what, i just joined for $153 for the free tows with in ten kms. In the end 3and half hours later ,another towie shows up from nowhere and says i wll tow it for $60, he starts pulling out these ramps, hooks up the car and im on the back of the the tray in 15mins with no damage to bodykit. My experience with RACQ. SHIT CRAP INCOMPETENT. Thats my whinge.

Hello everyone, I just got home after waiting 3 hours for a tow truck. I was driving along and my car just shut down. I still had headlights and dash lights. It has no ignition or imobilzer, what does this sound like to you, i thought coil pack or ignition. It runs a mirco tech lt-12 and has a MSD DIS4, would they maybe have some thing to do with it. CHEERS.

I run a twin plate exedy 1100kg clutch, pain in the arse in peak hour traffic, my left leg is bigger than my right. Takes a bit of getting used to especially hill starts. Can be embarassing.

Mate these tyres are shit, after a short time the side walls start to crack, very dangerous. If anyone is using these tyres check for cracks. I was speaking to a supplier the other day and he has piles of them with cracks, He is waiting for them to be claimed on warranty.

Saw a white R33 Skyline IIR33 giving a cbr 600 a run on the bruce hwy near redcliffe turnoff, the bike rider had to look twice when he was getting passed. You dont see that everyday. Had to laugh.

Mate you can try showdown customs at Everton hills 3353 1260, he does an awesome job at a good price, but i think you might need a little bit more than $1500 to get the job done, but you never know.

Its always the way, its not a very convincing thread if you have a N1 pump. I run 440 rwhp and have a N1 pump, have been running it for about two years no probs yet, and i hope not in the future fingers crossed. Blown motor i feel for you it hurts.

Im not an expert but i think it has to do with back pressure so i was told, from experience with my car i had a 3.5" exhaust with a 5" tip hks cannon, the car makes 330 rwkw and it did have lag. The turbo didnt cut in til 4000rpm. Changed it to a 3" pipe and smaller cannon, it feels more responsive quieter and the turbo cuts in at 3500rpm.

Not sure about the dump pipe, but the rest sounds like the going rate for a custom exhaust. Good choice with the 3" pipe any bigger you start to get lag, even a 4" inch cat will do the job might be cheaper than the 5". Check out C.E.S exhaust just type it in google, they have the best dump pipes for skylines. If you are running a stock exhaust, you will hear and feel the difference you will like it.
