For starters you need a hoist to get to the bottom bolts. Need a workshop full of tools.

Well worth getting a leak test on your system, otherwise the refrigerant will leak out again. Large leaks can cause a loss of charge in no time at all! some smaller leaks could be as little as a fue ounces per year. Most leaks occur on the high side of the system including condenser coil and o ring fittings. Compressor discharge and suction hoses are also another major leak point. Laws on control of ozone depleting Refrigerant gas including HCFC R134a prohibit a leaking system to simply be recharged hence it is against the law to re gas refrigeration systems including car A/C without leak repairs.

Do You Need A Fmic With A Stock Turbo R33 ?
crofte replied to Munkyb0y's topic in Forced Induction Performance
I used a blitz lm cooler, same side inlet outlet fitted well on the S2 GTST. Lots of trimming and cutting of intrusion bar and bumper bar was needed to make it fit well. As for performance did notice a bit of a power gain with stock gear boosted 12psi and 3" trust PE II turbo back exhaust with split dump pipe. Sounds great and does seem have more power. JUST DO IT!!!!! -
Does your engine run hot? Decent kink in the pump hose going to radiator inlet!

About To Do Timing Belt For First Time :s
crofte replied to cosworth1971's topic in General Maintenance
Make sure you replace tention spring correctly behind pully as it is ecentric. spring must clip in behind dowel to give correct tention on belt. Get onto VACC for instruction manual for rb25det it will help you a great deal. -
Can someone tell me please? just in Nm will do. Ta

The first picture is right. This alows the wastegate to recieve pressure when the turbotech lets go. Be carefull with your calibration they are sensitive. Make sure you do it up nice and firm as well. You dont need the bolt the solenoid should be in the normally closed position if you pull the plug. And dont loose the tee piece like i did either. happy boosting.
