    Number Plates

i know a bloke who was fined because his plate was on a 45' angle, this all sounds like a end of month lets fill the quota deal.
  5. i've seen in a HPI mag an add for i think gen 1 or 2 (i can't look at the links so stop me if seen this one) its just a poster add with a skyline on a road passing a japanese girl on a bike whos' skirt has ridden up so everyone can see her "panties"!! you've got to admire a culture that has a fixasion on school girls and "panties"(i ment that in the nicest possible way)..i think the story was on the collection of skylines at redpark..i'll try to post up a pic
  6. i believe the RS-X was the intercooled factory version. the RS was the non intercooled version..just through that in to answer the last part of the question. as i found its parts places that will only sell the whole window and seal.
  7. got a quote today on falken st115 235x17" due to low stock at moment they are expensive 340 a pop i've used the ze512s' and 502s' there not to bad 502's not so good i'd recomend the ZE512 though i've not had them for long. and they still make the RT215
  8. what kind of numbers are you looking for?

  16. just to put a little more light on this title of this thread, if your reffering to "SPEED" #013 the artical is in refference to the racing history of the gt-r in the "BNR-series" and they ref to the future of the GT-R being powered by the "VQ-30DETT" P.S. ? what base engine has powered the last passenger/sports cars NISSAN has released in OZ? hint ("i'll have a burger and fries thanks") tv add...
  17. don't remember seeing anything about it? i'll have another look tonight..
  18. i know how hard it is to find something you need so just throught i'd put up the names of places that have helped with the harder to find bits for the older cars. www.jaustech.com.au (pricee but at least they have it) www.japparts.com.au (QLD) www.option1garage.com.au (QLD) www.importbitz.com.au www.slidewizeimports.com can import things for you from japan(big thumbs up) SSS Automotive at Girraween 02 9896 6111 Just Jap at Kirrawee (they race a DR30) Nispares/Datparts (0397298497) Z-16 autoparts - primarily Z-car spares, but might have parts for other classics - Harvey Rd, Kings Park, NSW, 2148 - (02) 9831 4734 Rare spares - lots of popular classic restoration parts - www.rarespares.net.au (online ordering) - 388 Gilbert Road, Preston VIC 3072 - (02)9471 0733 - 213 Parramatta Road, North Strathfield NSW 2140 - (02)9746 1188 Castlemaine Rod Shop - Fabrication of mounts, conversion kits etc. - www.rodshop.com.au (ordering through email, do COD) - Pyrenees Highway, Chewton, VIC, 3451 - (03) 5472 2853 Mad Dat Motorsports - some conversion stuff - www.maddat.com.au (ordering through email) - Unit 1 / 57 Boothby Street, Panorama S.A. 5041 - (08) 8374 4611 Datsport 1 Donegal Road Lonsdale, Adelaide SA 81862100 www.Datsport.com "MARINE CABLES" (will make brand new handbrake cables for less than 2nd hand ones) 07 55376099 IF YOU GET NO LUCK HERE THEN TRY THE JAPAN SECTION FOR THE LIST OF SITES IN JAPAN? its a small list but they have been able to help me so if you know of places that may be able to help someone maybe leave some info.
  19. rb25det box would be a good step in the right direction as you've got to think the N/A r31 box is just that and i'm sure not made to surrport 3x the power output... m2c
  20. you should check the vic section now to see if anyone was chased lastnight :headspin:
  21. the rears will be fine the fronts are going to be close. the worst that will happen with that offset would be a slightly large turning circle as the wheels might rub on the inner guards..mine are x7 +15 offset at the front, you can get 5mm spacers from autobarn now only like $35 bucks!!
  22. no wife, no kids, 2 cars and morgage
  23. the problem is the rotor and the hub are one peice with the r30 models, makes it a bitch to fit larger rotors let alone better callipars. if you do manage to do this then you need to use spacers at the front to let the rims clear the callipars... this is what i've got from all the info in the r30 thread so far! s-13 coilovers s-13hubs and the other bits to bolt to r30 then its r32 gts-t or gtr re-drilled rotors to match the 4x114.3 stud pattern. i don't know if the callipars will just bolt on or not yet?? this has been done for the front and may-be the rear?? hope that helps it should all bolt on except the re-drilling of the rotors $1500 should be the most you'd have to pay. thats my working on getting the rear bits at the sametime!
