  1. I have been using the AEM wideband for 6 years now, couldn´t be happier with it. Works great, no calibration needed and all the electronics fit in the 2" gauge
  2. No manual mention these dip switches since Hks sell them preconfigured for external or internal wastegate. All sorted now anyway. A nice japanese guy opened his headunit and took a picture for me
  3. I have an HKS EVC II boost controller, which was bought second hand. The problem is that it is set up for external wastegate so it does not work properly on my car. There are small DIP switches inside the unit that you can flip for it to work with internal wastegate but I can not find info about this anywhere, not even the HKS could help me with it Anyone got one of these that can check how the switches sit would have been worth gold Best Regards/ Martin
  4. Not very good at explaning this stuff since english is not my native language but these pictures might shed some light Water feed and return: Oil feed and return:
  5. Here is my R33 projector retrofit, looks pretty good imho Bought a set of Bmw e34 projectors, painted them black just for looks. Something like this Lucky me I have a big owen at work Standard headlight off! Mount the projector. All done.... Or is it? No! This was fun so lets keep going Projector no:2 is up. Cut cut away and we have a high beam projector Then I completely forgot to take any more pictures during the installation but this is how it turned out: Mounted on the car:
  6. Do NOT clear coat! I tried it on a piece of this vinyl and it lost almost all of the CF texture. Looked almost like electrical tape afterwards
  7. Thanks guys No pics as I haven't installed the stuff yet. Will do that soon.

  11. Standard thread size is M10x1.25 I have a bag with oem studs right here
  12. I stand corrected I have edited the pictures now, thanks.
  13. This way you don't have to block off any pipes. Just remember to mount the bleed valve so its the highest spot on the cooling system.
  14. I took a good look where the water hoses for the bleed valve goes, before i took the old plenum off. Didn't like the idea of not being able to bleed the air out of the cooling system
  15. Great thread, answered all my questions regarding this install. Started her up yesterday, idles smooth as silk Can't wait to try her on the road, f**king winter here now...
  16. It should work if you put the elctronics from the afm in a steel/aluminium pipe with the same diameter. Something like this:
  17. Yes. At least the gasket between plenum and head, but I replaced all of them for peace of mind
  18. I think it should be Garrett GT3582 or GT3582R (Ballbearing)
