  1. Everyone has a bad story, had jax quickfit in belco fit my semis and had no issues. Had another tyre chain put on two new tyres some months back, and due to some issues I had since then I will not go back there even though they were good before,
  2. Had a quick chat with ESP, we are pretty much right ok to a total of 30 cars, but people need to be aware that you'll have to stand around and wait for a while if numbers are up past 20 or so. Also just trying to figure out how many AWD cars there will be as well. I won't be running AWD due to my issues.
  3. http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en&i...004828&z=18 First right after the bridge / railway line from act, or 2nd right after hmas harman. Front bar should be fine, just thought I'd tell everyone.
  4. How'd you fit the seats in? As the hooks/loops are smaller for the coupe, compared to the sedan.
  5. no probs, sorry to hear about the crash.
  6. ESP is at: 171 Gilmore Rd Queanbeyan, opposite the Allied Pickfords Warehouse pretty much. just a word of warning there is a fair dip down to the dyno itself. Will talk to ESP to see if theres a cap on numbers, since we have 20 so far, and will take a while to get through if everyone shows up.
  7. It is a 4wd dyno.
  8. Move to Orange Building my pet peeve, the b**ch that bought my item on oztion and then said she didn't agree to buy it, didn't agree to buy it? She won the damn auction....

  11. I'd try nisswreck in adelaide, decent price, I payed 450$ for mine, but wasn't perfect, I knew that buying it, very easy to deal with.
  12. What does smoke on startup normally mean? when the engine is cold? worn valve guides? Or something else?
  13. My bonnet pins are illegal in the ACT, so took em off.
  14. Email I have about the show this year: With around two months to the greatest spring car show in Canberra, it’s time for participants to register their interest. We’re looking forward to a great year – it’s 60 years since the mighty Morris Minor was born, the home-grown Holden emerged, that stalwart Land Rover pushed the boundaries and the first Honda hit the ground. But Marques is more than that, it’s a free-for-all great big show and shine for anyone with a set of wheels, either standard or modified, to join in. We want as many as are rolling to meet at the Floriade car park on Barrine Drive near the Commonwealth Avenue bridge for a cruise to John Knight Memorial Park in Belconnen. Then, we’ll disperse around the park and enjoy a motoring extravaganza. (If you have a static display we’d like to see you too!) All the usual catering and trade stalls will be there, so bring the family, friends or just come on your own – we’ll look forward to a great day out. Marques in the Park is supported by Shannons Insurance, and SOS Recruitment as major sponsors and assisted by Injektd, Elite Car Sound and Vision and Green Light Mortgages. Support those who support your passion! We’ve attached a jpg of the Marques 08 flyer and poster. We have hard copies available, so if you would like further promotional material drop us an email at [email protected] or give Geoff a call on 6296 2442. To help us allocate appropriate space for you and your friends, call us, drop us an email or a line at the above address. Marques in the Park is organised by the Canberra Region Morris Minor Club of behalf of the Council of ACT Motor Clubs. Look forward to seeing you there on Sunday, 23 November 2008, from 8 am and then at John Knight Memorial Park for a relaxed day on the shores of Lake Gininderra. Cheers, Canberra Region Morris Minor Club p.s not organising this, this time Just thought I'd put the email I got up, if anyones interested this year, it is a nice show.
