  1. That's what I was thinking Mitcho. On the stock plenum the mist will flow into the middle and "spread" out. What concerns me with the plazmaman is the most will have to pass over 1,2,3,4,5 to reach number 6. But as Jez said I think I'm over thinking the whole thing. Should just connect up the kit and see what happens
  2. Yeah a little right angled jet pointed at the tb would be good, pretty sure it wouldn't effect the air flow in pipes too much. You could be right though Jez, I may be over thinking it. I suppose if the plazmaman flows ok in it's current state the. It's just going to take any gas from the meth with it and still flows as it should than things should reach number 6 ok. I suppose that with the stock intake WMI doesn't starve 1 & 6 so probably the same deal???
  3. Great, looks like I'll have to go and do a fluid dynamics degree just to figure out where to put my WMI jets.....lol The evo boys love the stuff, especially in the US. Some of thier setups are very complicated with foolproof failsafes, map switching etc etc. Unfortunately those of us with teh trusty PFC are pretty much limited to a boost cut type failsafe that will switch to running on actuator pressure. I'll keep researching and see if can work out something skyline specific.
  4. So, correct me if I'm wrong but are you saying move the nozzle further away from teh TB to give the mist a chance to turn to a gas before it enters the plenum? Mmmmmm, could work. I'm still Seeing cyl 1 getting more of the mix than cyl 6. I wonder if say 3 nozzles tapped into the side of plenum itself would help with even distribution ?
  5. So ive been doing a little research on evolutionM forums and it appears the biggest worry is getting even cylinder distribution so a lot of people run multiple jets to feed each cylinder. Which brings me to a query, I'm running a plazmaman forward facing plenum and was going to just set up a progressive system with the jet ~8-10 cm from the TB. Do you think this would cause uneven flow with a ffp? I'm a little concerned that cylinders 1-3 will end up getting all the mist and 4-6 will "starve" if that makes sense. Idealy I should probably have a jet in each runner but room is pretty tight and IMO its creating more potential for failure points with multiple nozzles and tees for the feed lines etc. Thoughts?????
  6. Yeah need to clarify that, They will break traction when cold or if you push them. But once warm they are very very grippy. As with the dyno figure, pressures were perfect ( 2 day old tyres) they actually became quite tacky after a few runs and you could kind of dig your finger into them. As with the video Matt, yes I got them to break traction but it was a Canberra morning and the tyres were stone cold plus that was around 5k launch. You can see after I grabbed 2nd they didnt take long to hook up. Maybe my original post was a little optimistic due to lack of proper driving time on them but I still say they are a dam good tire and would recommend them to anyone who wants grippy street rubber that can more than handle track work.
  7. Quakers Hill near Blacktown Matt. Not really my thing Steveo, I really enjoy the Sutton type stuff but I find Nirimba a bit meh. Sorry, just me............waits for flaming That's why I very rarely do skids, just don't see the point and also can't afford that much rubber all the time
  8. That launch was somewhere around 4-5k but looks like it failed when I tried to grab second gear, as I said I still need more practice
  9. Hahahaa you saw that huh?? Hardly what I'd call an epic burnout..........I fell to the Fatz's peer pressure, he is a bad influence. I do need to learn how to launch properly, it's never been my strong point.
  10. I wonder why you don't want any cones in place ..........I have a theory
  11. I was saying the same thing on Saturday, how awesome to just have the "full" track. Some of the speeds you'd get up to could make it nasty if you come off, especially after the straight.
  12. I like your " I wanna do it all" way of thinking
  13. Yeah totally agree steveo no runoff at all, I came off in a work Hilux and ended up in the scrub lol. Sutton would be first option every time. It is just another option if attendance becomes a major issue. Did they ever give you a reason for not letting us on?? It is a Honda affiliated place so maybe cause we don't have vtec yo?
  14. Here is the other place I was talking about earlier, dosent look as technical as Sutton but still could be fun. Dont get me wrong Sutton was a tops day out, just though it might help get more of the Sydney folks involved. H.A.R.T Driver Training Centre, Mona Vale Rd, St Ives Sutton Sutton does look worth the drive down though dosent it
  15. Long shot but did anyone happen to get any footage of my red 33 (besides Fatz filming my failing launch) I think I might invest in one of those in car telemetric thingys, bunsuns footage looks cool.
  16. I was thinking on the way home last night about another place I have been too in Sydney that is similar to this and it just came too me. Has anybody been to the H.A.R.T driver training centre on Mona Vale Rd at st Ives?? It has a little track down the back similar to sutton (but without the jump) if Sutton ever becomes a non option maybe the nsw execs could sus out if st Ives is a viable option???? I'll post up a pic later
  17. Wow that looks crazy, must've felt felt like a pretty hard bang from inside the car
  18. You had to post that up didn't you! Thanks all for a great day, it was good to finally get out and get a feel for the new setup. Still have to get used to it though me thinks. And big thanks to Jenna for the friendly rivalry you'll get me next time hahahaa I need to grow a pair for the jump, I was backing off waaaaay to early. Will definately go again to sutton, awesome place, soooooo much fun. NOw if only Pete can do a lap without taking out 20 cones
  19. Nice I Wasn't looking forward to a Canberra night time bleed mission
  20. Well it's about bloody time Matt The rims came up really well man, I like them. Are they just a flat black or is it just the photo that gives them a gun metal hue??? Good luck with the tune mate, it's been a long ride for you hey! Is e85 at the bowsers up at the terrace or are you gonna store drums? It's still not local enough for me down here so WMI for me I thinks.. Dibs on a ride when we finally meet up in person ok.
  21. Leave at 630-700 at the latest and you will be fine, you wanna beat the peak so best get there early
  22. Hmmmmmmm??????? I wonder.........maybe I'll run it by her after this weekend
  23. Completely legal I believe. I don't think it has any adverse effects on emissions.
  24. Dunno ARTZ, just going by a 5 min conversation with my tuner. I'm going there this arvo so I'll ask him if he has time.
