  1. Thanks. I assume they fixed the problem in future models.
  2. Guys what year models is the recall for?
  3. Thanks for the reply. Is there a local source for the AP-J Hook rotors and Endless pads? I've seen that the Alcon rotors/Endless pads are readily available from the US... Cheers.
  4. Hi all, What is the general consensus when it is time to replace pads and rotors etc? Stick with stock, or is it better to go aftermarket? Any advice is appreciated Thanks.
  5. Looks amazing! I also quite like the stock wheels.
  6. Auction cars can tend to get a fair bit cheaper. The trade off being you can't drive the car- that's very risky for an R35. I imagine prices will hold firm for quite some time, these cars are in demand and production is low.
  7. You can't compare the A45 AMG with a GTR. They're completely different cars. One is a proper advanced sports car. The other is a hot hatch that mostly women buy... That said if you're worried about maintenance and repairs- the GTR is not for you.
  8. Thanks mate. That makes sense then, I guess it comes down to the vehicle on the day and the interest shown. lol. Yeah they're nice. New Range Rover Sport comes out around November- Supercharged beast mode available.
  9. I've seen that one actually- but it has very high kms from memory. Back to MB (and sorry to be annoying)- how does it work? I've seen some cars go dirt cheap, others for good money. Do they set a reserve based on what is owing? How do they decide what they are chasing for repo vehicle? Thanks for the input mate. . I do think it will be hard to sell down the track. Personally not a fan of any of the GLs or MLs or even the boxy G series really lol, but it is a present that my brother and I are getting for my Dad, as he loves the G series.
  10. Awesome! So with the repos- are they auctioned via Manheim/Pickles etc? Or is there something I don't know about lol. Just a quick enquiry- any G55 AMGs?
  11. It's not bad at all, I guess I wouldn't think it ideal for a family though. Also I'm a bit confused, I think you've mentioned you work for Mercedes in the past, but now it seems you work for an auction house? Please clarify lol.
  12. Hmm have you sat in the back before? The front seats are awesome. Back....okay at best....I wouldn't say roomy lol.
  13. Good thanks. Sorry to hear about your Grandma. The situation in Syria is terrible in general. Until your kids are about 3-4 years old lol. They aren't a roomy car. My business partner has one- best sounding car you can get, great looks, classy and neat interior. But good luck getting traction. The transmission isn't quick/smooth either, although I think they rectified this in newer models (wet clutch or something like that). Oh and no LSD standard- unless you have the performance pack version.
  14. Haha. I have a gander in here every now and then. How are you mate? Also Happy Birthday/Get Well Soon fellas.
  15. I can't believe that. What sort of lowlife scum takes pleasure in being an absolute prick. Fair enough, maintain the standards of the law and protect the public in general, but exactly what do the police achieve by inconveniencing people for no reason? I would be fuming and not let that one go. Comes down to private property vs implied access and the fact that a registered vehicle must be roadworthy. Anyway- if he does not want to pursue it further, fair enough, would take a lot of effort/time.
  16. Thanks mate. I should post up some pics once I give it a wash.
  17. E93. Yeah I might just swing past there when I get a chance, depending on what chasers say. Just after the basics, as pretty happy with the stock performance.
  18. Sold it quite some time ago! R35 and M3 atm.... How's the GTR going? I really miss the raw feeling of an R32. Every now and then I see a clean example on the road....
  19. Ah! Yes forgot about them. Thanks mate.
  20. Thanks. Anyone else? Just looking at my options- Racepace is quite far from my house. .
  21. Thanks again fellas. Who are guys in Melbourne using for their R35 modification needs?
  22. Hi guys, After an exhaust to suit 2012 GTR. New/used, don't mind. So interested in what retailers as well as private sellers may have. Thanks.
  23. Thanks mate. Might just get the exhaust for now. Have no desire to make it quicker just yet lol...
  24. All they did was take out the 2 cars that beat the GTR and that would be it again lol...but was fun to watch. Thanks.
  25. Hi all, Recently picked up a 2012 GTR. I'll keep it short: 1: Will exhaust/air intake modification void warranty? 2: If not, then can I please have some suggestions as to exhaust and air intake. Some indicative pricing would also be great. Thanks, Ali.
