ive seen this turbo, is great for an upgrade on a skyline. will need the rear housing changed tho. has double fin comp wheel. all metal. rear housings cost like 450 for a .84, 8 bolts and away it goes on ur car. free bump

remove the right hand side drivers vent next to the side mirror, make a piece of mdf to suit the vent shape and mount the gauge there, maintains a reltivly standard look and gauge isnt mounted above the dash.

hey guys i know alot of people use splitfire coil packs when upgrading their coils. just wanting to know if anyone has used/knows of poeple that are or have used the JJR coilpacks. they arent as dear as the split fires which could be an alternate avenue to explore rather than split fires. JJR = $399 Spit fires = $499 appreciate the info and thoughts. cheers daniel

stock turbos are running 10psi if im not mistzken, they are more than capable of running 1 bar(14psi) without going boom. power fc is a great upgrade for any performance car. it makes some difference even on a standard car. you have to remember that the factory tune is restrictive and set to comply to the japan regs, well worth the $$$ with regars to ur turbos, depends on your power target. if u chasing big targets, change them. if your chasing smaller ones leave them the standard ones til they go boom and then change. y waste the $$ on new turbs if u dont need to. decide your power taget and then your decision on turbo selection becomes easier.

if u after look alike leather and are in melb or anywhere for that matter, see ultimate auto trim, they sell re-trimmed covers for your r33. they look shit hot, and are about 599 for front and backs. like an extra 50 i think for door trims and rear trims too.

well if u dont mind either go for sale section for private cars and then the dealers where some of us have dealt with in our skyline purchasing experience

from looking at ur second shot, seams like the reo has been chopped, maybe in japan, if thats the case you'll have a tuff time getting insurance to pay you out. they'll claim that the cut out caused a laxk of structural strength and void ur insurance.

its only so expensive as u need to do headlights, front bar, bonnet, guards, reo, and all the f*#king around getting ti to line up properly then also to spray it. the kits are about 3-4k in glass, the other 4-6k is spent on fittup and spraying as there is some work needed to get the headlights to fit and then the guards to have a consistent gap and yeh. alot of mucking around.

in regads to pods, its legal to have them as they are an intake mod only if there arent any other intake mods. ie front mount changed, cold air intake etc.

for rwc if the car has its standard front mount pods are legal in vic. in regards to forst rego im not too sure. but check ur compliance papers, if it has it there then u need it. also try speaking to who complied the car for you, they usually have that sorta stuff around that they rent for clearing defects and rego etc.

will be an intimidating thing having all skylines around. wont pose an issue. its also schoolies i think or is that the following week? i cant remember, i finished 5 years ago. damn that is a long tym.

it should sit about 3/4 the way down close to -7. if it is sitting higher check the vac hoses for the boost gauge. should sort out the issues.

if ur running the hose to the actuator directly to the intake pipe, are u talking about the piping that the runs to the cooler pipes or are u talking about the intake pipe for the turbo itself? if its to the turbo intake pipe itself then ur wrong. it should run from the intercooler pipe to the wastegate actuator. another thing that might be the cause is the cam angle sensor, check to ensure its plugged in correctly. also check for any intercooler pipe leaks or vac leaks.

might be worth posting wat ur after in the perth forum (wa) and again in the wanted section. get some more exposure.
