  1. i got a stock S1 wing. im in melb, where are u? if u want it, u can have it for $30. led's all working. let me know
  2. make sure the batt is d/c. undo torx screws and the airbag will pull out. from then on its the same as any other steering wheel to change. when done bridge the a/b clip with wire so it always checks out on start up. ps. its ILLEGAL to remove an airbag from a car that came fitted with 1. (advice, do it anyway just dont get caught) lol
  3. the black plastic screw clips are twist and pull style. undo so its loose, dwar it back (wont come completly out) and remove plug and screw at teh same time. this will remove the wheel arch.
  4. the spare wheel
  5. the spare wheel
  6. the spare wheel
  7. Y double track, if the west meets at image, go own the back way to forsyth rd and then meet us at the main meet. i doubt people wanna travel backwards and then forwards too.
  8. i didnt use a hoist to put my dump/front on. i just used a set of car ramps. no head f*kcs for me. was easy as. took about 1 hr all up. ash, if u need a hand yell out and ill give ya a hand.
  9. list updated
  10. uve probably blown a cooler pipe join. it might be split or partially off the pipe. check all your intercooler pipes and all the joiners too.
  11. ash send us the pm too. im not 100% sure yet but i will try to make it.
  12. most tuners charge 250 for the first hour on a dyno. it shouldnt take longer than that. i had my safc2 installed and tuned by re customs in melb for 200 flat.
  13. heres some that i took.
  14. very simple, instead of having the standard gasket under the stock bov, u replace it with a coke cak gasket. u may ask what a coke can gasket is? this is a gasket that doesnt have a hole in it but is still the same as standard thus sealing the hole into the cooler pipe that normally would be there (u use a coke can to make the gasket), and then with the vaccum line, all u do is tape up the nipple under the hose and put the hose back on. with this done there is no vaccum and no pressure on the bov spring thus eliminating the stock bov from operating and just being a dummy bov.
  15. how do you plan on usign the adhesive? to seal the skirts to the body? front and rear bars wont need anything. sikaflex isnt bad, with skirts its a matter or fitting with screws and then a seal along the top edge so gaps close.
  16. a) its not pinking, its PINGING b) the ticking noise is the engine components returming to size as engine is metal and with heat it slightly expands. nothing to worry bout.
  17. well if the quality is good like others say, it should be an easy fittment.
  18. theres a crew in sydney that have 33 bolt on kits. and i mean bolt on. no cutting drilling welding nothing... the kit alone costs 3k and then install. its recommended that they do the install to ensure the hinge is correctly adjusted for door closing to be perfect. and at the same time there hinges are ADR Approved. they've had them tested and certified. wouldnt mind getting them done to my 33 but 3k-3.5k is alot just for a pair of hinges.
  19. most people just buy after market hoses from bursons. make sure it a fuel hose. what pump u putting in? 040? if u are seel it and get a tomei or nismo. direct replacement.
  20. pm ashneel he'll give u all the details or check the link out at the top of thispage. fearh posted it up.
  21. mini meet hasnt yet been organised but i dare to say there will be 2 like last gor cruise. 1 @ brandon park for ppl from the south east, which will then meet up with the northern burbs meet at kmart campbellfield. worked well that way and had something like 30 odd cars at the kmart meet with those from the SE. once we get close to the date, prob 2 weeks b4, ill organise the kmart meet on the forums and probably dilmah/ashneel can organise the SE meet. they seem to do it pretty well. list updated guys.
  22. up to you mate. u've just alerted me to that but i dont see that as being an issue. i think we'll still have a big turnout. may not be the 100+ i was dreaming for but hopefully it will be around the 50 car mark.
  23. thanks for all the neg/pos feedback. it did get ideas rolling in my mind to continue to mod my bov pipe. and at the same time, my biv that i will be using is atmo/plumbback. its a dual port 1 that vents and returns air. so thats the reason i still wanna plum it back in. plus its a customization of MY car. I dont care if i get pulled over and its found, regardless of which, i get pulled over anyway just becasue i drive a skyline.
  24. i know that the meet point for those meeting in the east is the brandon park shopping centre. not exactly sure what time has been organised, but pm ashneel or dilmah as they are both coming, and just ask them about the time. they'll also be able to clarify which side of brandon park they are meeting at.
  25. in melb it isnt to hard to pass vic roads. if its welll hidden its ok. and secondly after some searching and talking to some people i know, im gonna run a relay on the vaccum line of the 2 bovs so i can switch between them. sounds good in theory but we'll see soon once i put it into practise. if i get pulled over, stock bov, rev no issue. same at epa. when just crusing around, go atmo
